Long wait but friendly service I had my car brought in because it had a bad battery (didn't know that at the time). Disappointing Service Yes, the department was able to fix the problem. However, it was very disappointing on their interpretation of the 10year/100,000mile POWERTRAIN warr Yes, the department was able to fix the problem. However, it was very disappointing on their interpretation of the 10year/100,000mile POWERTRAIN warranty. My Optima Hybrid suddenly stopped working and the culprit was a safety disconnect fuse in the POWERTRAIN, yet it is not covered under the 10yr/100000mile POWERTRAIN warranty. And to add insult to this $400 repair, they just wanted to argue with me about the fact that it was not covered. Definitely shed light on their attitudes to service. I will not be bringing either of my two KIAs back to this service department and quite frankly, I will probably never buy another KIA due to how upset they made me over this $400 repair. Way to look out for customer loyalty. More
