Genesis- So called ‘Certified’ Vehicle Buyer Beware! If you are interested in purchasing a pre-owned Certified Hyundai Genesis 3.8/5.0 or Genesis G80/G90 from jim ellis hyundai please take Buyer Beware! If you are interested in purchasing a pre-owned Certified Hyundai Genesis 3.8/5.0 or Genesis G80/G90 from jim ellis hyundai please take the vehicle to an independent service center and have the vehicle checked our thoroughly. The vehicle that I purchased sat on the lot for 6 to 8 months and as a result the tires were flat spotted and not a good quality tire. When I purchased the vehicle there was no certification document that showed what was replaced or checked on the vehicle. This was my fault for not asking for the document. The pre-owned Lexus GS350 that I previously owned had a certification document. Just do your due diligence if your purchase a so called ‘certified’ genesis from jim ellis. My Response - The tires were ‘flat splotted’ (because the vehicle sat on the lot for so long without being driven) and the tires that were placed on the vehicle were very low quality. A ‘true’ luxury brand would have never put a sub $50 tire on a vehicle! Also, I never received any ‘certification’ documents. It was my mistake for trading in a Lexus for a hyundai! More
