Frustrating I dropped off my car needing the dash looked at and an oil change. My advisor let me know that my car was ready but failed to mention they had to ord I dropped off my car needing the dash looked at and an oil change. My advisor let me know that my car was ready but failed to mention they had to order my dash piece. When I purchased my car, I was given 8 free oil changes. When I got there to pick up my car I had to pay $80 for an oil change....when I shouldn't have had to pay anything. My car is also listed incorrectly when pulling up the VIN number. I was very disappointed with this visit. My advisor was super nice and explained everything well though. I appreciate that aspect. More

Appointment with Wrong Dealership I arrived at Jim Ellis for my 8:30 am oil change appointment hoping to get in and out on a Saturday. I was approached and gave my name but no appoint I arrived at Jim Ellis for my 8:30 am oil change appointment hoping to get in and out on a Saturday. I was approached and gave my name but no appointment was found. After looking at my confirmation I was embarrassed to say I made the appointment with a different dealership! OMG! Oil change gone wrong Just wanted an oil change & tire rotation. The $72 was not cheap. Our expensive wheels on our $50,000 Enclave were damaged by an air wrench - two with slight nicks, another badly. Chris the Service Manager was great, admitting there was “no excuse”, the mechanic had simply rushed and been careless. It took us three trips to the dealer over the course of a week, and four days without our car to have the wheels refinished. They did what was right, but we didn’t want refinished wheels. It’s sad that a dealer takes such pride in pristine new cars, advertises “Expect the Best”, and some dude with an air wrench treats your car like that. UNACCEPTABLE. I’m only giving a second star because Chris was great to work with. More

Great service experience from Chad! Great experience! When I brought my vehicle to Chad for an oil change, there were several items found to be issues. Chad explained in detail the wo Great experience! When I brought my vehicle to Chad for an oil change, there were several items found to be issues. Chad explained in detail the work that needed be done and confirmed that it was covered by my extended warranty. He was able to get a courtesy vehicle approved which was helpful to me as I'm a single parent and work in Alpharetta, GA. The repairs took longer than expected pending warranty approvals and parts but Chad kept me updated throughout the process. I had a vehicle to drive so it wasn't an issue. My car was ready Friday afternoon but knowing that I have a long daily commute, he was very accommodating my allowing me to return the courtesy vehicle and pickup my car on Saturday morning. My car is running great, the AC is cooling, and I'm happy to be back in my vehicle. My 14 daughter on the other hand, wants to know why we couldn't have kept the newer model courtesy vehicle - she liked it much better, lol! Thanks Chad and Jim Ellis GMC Mall of GA for a great experience. I'm also thankful that my sales associate encouraged me to purchase an extended warranty by selling the value and peace of mind for large repairs. I'll do it again when I'm ready to purchase my next vehicle! More
