Dissapointing Knowledge of Vehicle I was amazed at how seemingly little the intake service folks knew about my vehicle. It is a new 2019 GMC Acadia. Ia asked about a few of the featur I was amazed at how seemingly little the intake service folks knew about my vehicle. It is a new 2019 GMC Acadia. Ia asked about a few of the features and the response I got was - "you will need to look it up in your owners manual." I understand they have a lot of models to keep up with but it sure did not instill confidence that they really knew much about my car. They were just "schedulers" of service. I guess I expected more. Also, I was told my car would be washed - which it was not. However, the service did take less time than they quoted which was a super surprise. I will try one more time and then I think we will go to another GMC service center. More

Poor communication - remove service from this title Appointment for 1:00. Arrived 12"45. Needed oil change and indicated engine fan was not working. Had to get a rental as they didn't know length of Appointment for 1:00. Arrived 12"45. Needed oil change and indicated engine fan was not working. Had to get a rental as they didn't know length of "service". Communication for the remainder of day which was initiated by me showed nothing had been done. Why appointment to only have car sit for 4-5 hours ?? Rep called next day at 8:45 and left message I would hear of something in the next hour. Didn't happen. Then told oil change was done "last night" ? Continual calls over the next 3 1/2 hours made by myself with rep's continual response that I'll get back to you. Never did in the time frame he indicate. I had to call. Always told they were "looking at it". Finally received a call at about 12:15 saying that it wasn't electrical (could have figured that out in a few minutes) but needed a new fan and quoted a cost of over $3000 !!! Told them I would pick up the car. Upon arrival given a bill for over $240 and showed estimate which was now about $2000 - still ridiculous. Rep refuted that he said $3000. My wife heard this also as I had call on speaker. Last service trip to you for an oil change resulted in my vehicle returned to me with a totally broken windshield. It originally had a SMALL CHIP. Showed rep - nothing I can do - sorry about that Now considering legal action to recover losses of time and money for Ellis actions. More
