Service before our trip to Alaska! We are driving 4100 miles to Alaska next week and wanted to get and oil change as well as have them look over vehicle prior to our trip. The service advisor greeted me promptly and performed an oil change and 21 point inspection. Just having the piece of mine that a GM certified mechanic has blessed off on my vehicle eases my mine prior to this long trip. More

Oil change Tried to call several times to make an appointment to have my oil changed. Noone answered the phone.. Decided to just go to dealership. Took over 2 Tried to call several times to make an appointment to have my oil changed. Noone answered the phone.. Decided to just go to dealership. Took over 2 hours for an oil change. My settings on my car were changed. Every time I open my door, the car dings which it never did before. I understand that the seat needs to be moved back but it was not only moved back, the recline on it and also the height of it was moved. It took me forever to get the seat in the right position. My radio was changed to XM radio also . I dont know that I will come back for any type of service. Extremely annoyed More

Not our most pleasant experience at Jim Ellis GMC. We've had this vehicle serviced at Jim Ellis since we drove it out of there when it was new. Unfortunately, this experience not up to our expectation We've had this vehicle serviced at Jim Ellis since we drove it out of there when it was new. Unfortunately, this experience not up to our expectations. Despite having a scheduled appointment, the time it took for routine servicing was much too long. Additionally, we specifically noted that tire rotation not required nor requested since we would be having new tires installed with the next couple of days. The tires were rotated any way - that was returned as a credit but the time still lost only to be repeated 48 hours later. I didn't have the option to answer "why" we don't recommend, but we will return based on past experience and overlooking this "slip". More
