Poor service I scheduled an appointment with the service department 4 or 5’days ahead. Got to my scheduled appointment and walked inside as instructed. Guy at desk whom I believe was a manager and was not very friendly or helpful and asked me to take a seat and someone would be with me. After 20 minutes someone came and verified what I was having done. I was there for a oil change and tire rotation. After 2 hours of waiting... I checked out and was walked to my car (very nice). Upon pulling out onto the road I look down and notice a yellow light is on my dash. I immediately call back and the guy said well can you bring it back they forgot to reset the system. Needless to say after 2 hours of waiting for a standard oil change and tire rotation you would think everything would be complete. This is unacceptable and makes me wonder about competency of who is working on my vehicle. I was unable to return due to work issues but will be returning to get this completed. I do have a service contract but am not feeling very confident about service. More

Not a good day at Jim Ellis Service So I was told to schedule an appoint by one of your service folks so I could get two keys made and program 2 key fobs. That was done 1.5 weeks prior t So I was told to schedule an appoint by one of your service folks so I could get two keys made and program 2 key fobs. That was done 1.5 weeks prior to the service date. I asked “should I buy the stuff beforehand” I was told not to worry that we should have it in stock ready to go. Got to my appointment at 8 am on Dec 23rd which I drove all they way from West Forsyth area (Cumming) to be told 35 min after getting there that you all did not have any of the parts. The person was apologetic but that does not fix the issue. So I guess it’s best for me to just go to another GMC dealership to see you f I can get this done.. I bought the truck from you and I loved the sales side. This is three times now service has failed me so not sure if I would recommend your service department moving forward. More
It’s great, if you have an appointment. My car was towed to the dealer on a Sunday. I called them the next day to let them know what is going on with it. I was told they were very busy and may not get to it that day. I called back in the afternoon and it still hadn’t been looked at. I ended up getting a loaner car until it was fixed. This dealership puts too much emphasis on service appointments, and they don’t have someone to take care of emergency or non scheduled customers. More
Not the Best I bring my vehicle here for a piece of mind knowing they’re a reputable company that will take care of my Buick. This past time I wasn’t pleased. The employee I had handling my appointment, he told me that since I was dropping my car off, everyone in the waiting room would be done before me and that I could come back just before 4 when they closed to pick up my car. I’ve NEVER been told that, (him really, why I make appointments). I told him that was unacceptable and I’d be back by noon to pick up my car. I also expressed that I needed one of my tires checked as it had been setting off the low pressure alarm for a week. I was told by the same employee that the techs don’t have time to do extra checks outside of what they already do, so I’m return I was told I have a bad tire. My tires aren’t even 2 years old and I bought them from that dealership. I’d say this definitely wasn’t the best service appointment and I’ve had better. More

Good, friendly service. I took my truck in for an intermittent problem with radio under warranty. My explanation of the problem was assessed, vehicle was checked out and part I took my truck in for an intermittent problem with radio under warranty. My explanation of the problem was assessed, vehicle was checked out and parts ordered. I returned a few days later when touchscreen came in to have it installed. Time will tell if that fully corrects my problem but so far so good. More
