All Talk, No Listening. We recently purchased a vehicle from a Jim Ellis competitor because the salesman at Jim Ellis did not listen at all. On not one, but two occasions, w We recently purchased a vehicle from a Jim Ellis competitor because the salesman at Jim Ellis did not listen at all. On not one, but two occasions, we had our title, trade in, and check in hand and he was given the opportunity to make a sale but failed to do so because he was more interested in talking than listening. Although certain features were important to us, we were open to three different models. This should have given even the most inexperienced salesman a wealth of inventory from which to choose. This particular salesman, however, spent his time spouting off useless tidbits about things that had absolutely no relevance to our search. He was completely unfamiliar with his product, instead apparently using his time to search other dealers' inventory and follow our Craigslist ad to sell our car, in some sort of convoluted effort to prove himself right and us (THE CUSTOMER) wrong. When we left Jim Ellis to go to their competitor, this guy had the nerve to send a text to us that we felt, questioned our honesty. True to form, the text only served to further prove that he still had not HEARD A WORD WE SAID. More

Excellent from start to finish I was fortunate to work with Richard Nourie of Jim Ellis Buick GMC in Buford for my car buying needs. I sent in an inquiry form on a 2015 GMC Acadi I was fortunate to work with Richard Nourie of Jim Ellis Buick GMC in Buford for my car buying needs. I sent in an inquiry form on a 2015 GMC Acadia, and Richard responded very promptly. From the very beginning, everything was handled the way that most people would want it to be done. Richard and I figured out an agreeable time to look at the Acadia the following day, but from the very beginning, I had a great feeling about working with him since our philosophies on buying and selling are in line with each other. I told him that my wife and I don't want to drag this out due to being motivated buyers. Richard was the same way: transparent, direct, and honest. We test drove this vehicle and two others in the same vehicle segment. Richard knew from the beginning that we needed to do our "homework" and explore the other two vehicles to see which was the best fit for us. All he asked for was honest communication about where he and his offer stood. After only one round of negotiation, my wife and I purchased our new Acadia from Richard. Yes, we bought the same day that we went in to test drive. The offer Richard and his managers made was fair, aggressive and what we wanted. We also worked with Fred Maszalek for the Financing section of our purchase. He thoroughly explained everything and made the entire process seamless and painless on us. He's knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with. He truly wants what is best for his clients! The entire process was excellent from start to finish. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go see Richard Nourie. He's an excellent sales professional who will take great care of you, your family and your car-buying needs! More

We are Seventh Day Adventist and we keep the seventh day Sabbath as a very especial day to worship God, to help others and to strength our family. We do not do business after friday sunset when Sabbath starts and Nathan helped us to have all the paper work ready for us, so after driving for 3 hours we were able to buy the car very quickly right on time. I appreciate the fact that when I asked him over the phone if there was anything abnormal with the car, he told us about a very small scratch in one of the lateral mirrors, which was not very evident. In summary, we are happy with the experience. More
Deceitful Sales Practices We were working with Patrick Ross (not listed here on the employee list) and had gotten what we thought was a good price on a "Certified" used vehicle We were working with Patrick Ross (not listed here on the employee list) and had gotten what we thought was a good price on a "Certified" used vehicle. They did not disclose to us that the vehicle had previously been wrecked. Patrick brought out the Carfax sheets with the last page folded over the rest and asked me to sign it. When I folded the page back it showed that the vehicle had been wrecked. We immediately backed off and when we questioned Patrick about the wrecked status he said "you didn't ask" We walked away from the deal and bought from another dealer. More
