Still waiting on resolution I dropped my new truck off for a routine oil change at 7am on Wednesday, June 12. I was told I’d be notified as soon as it was ready to be picked up. I dropped my new truck off for a routine oil change at 7am on Wednesday, June 12. I was told I’d be notified as soon as it was ready to be picked up. By 1pm I’d heard no update and thought it odd. I called to check on my truck and was told that it was ready but there was an issue. My alloy wheel had been damaged and they had to call a repair man to fix it. I was taken aback that this was the first I’d heard of this incident but was assured the wheel was fixed. When I went to retrieve my truck I noticed quickly the damage to the wheel and the attempt to “fix” it was to spray some sort of metallic paint over the area that had been affected. I told the service rep that this would not do, and he agreed that it was pretty noticeable. He assured me he’d make it right even if it meant replacing the alloy wheel. He told me he would call the next day with more details on how he’d “make it right”. When I heard nothing by 3pm the following day I called back to the service department only to find that the representative I’d been working with was gone for the day. I left a message with the service manager to call me back to discuss this issue. The service manager returned my call and assured me he’d call me the following morning to discuss a way to “make things right”. Today would have been the time of that follow up and as of now (currently 1:30pm) I have heard nothing. In short, my new vehicle was damaged. I was joy informed when a “fix” was made. I have been now promised twice that I would be contacted to “make things right” and there has been no follow through. I do not feel that it is unreasonable to expect Better service. More

Arrived 10 minutes before the appointment time and it still took 1-1/2 hours. Seems like a long time for an oil change with an appointment. More
Chevrolet Service Center Thank you very much to Vladamir Kochubey at the Chevrolet Service Center. He always listens carefully and is able to find the answer to my car issue. I told him it sounded like a bag of checkers being shaken in the back of my car. He took the time to test drive it, make my appointment for the search of the issue. When I went back John took me home and came back to get me for the search appointment. A part had to be ordered. We took it back for the part to be installed but it took 2 trips to get it exactly right. Hopefully this will be the remedy of the loose trim on the back hatch door. Thank you to Vladamir for working me in for the shorter visit the next day. He is #1 in my book. I'm glad to have someone who can understand and has an excellent knowledge of the cars and their parts. More
