So So service New fuel pump finally put on after it's second visit for the same problem. I told them the first time I was smelling diesel fuel, they change the oil pan gasket. Still smelled like diesel and left spots on the driveway. Finally this time, with only 4,000 miles of warranty left they actually listened and fixed the problem. Picked the truck up, first thing on is the Low Coolant warning light. I'm surprised this was not addressed. Also there are greasy marks on the hood, the fenders and even the side doors. I guess a clean up is not part of the warranty work. Overall, I'm glad it's fixed, hopefully. Just disappointed in the condition they gave it back to me. More
Good service overall I always take my cars to Jim Ellis because they are really good with their service and this time was not the exception. The only issue was that it took them too long (in my opinion). To me, changing oil and rotating tires should be a 30-45 minutes job. In this case, it took them almost 80 minutes. Not sure why it took so long, but I hope you can improve your times in the future. More

Poor Communication My husband took my car to get an oil change for me. He waited while they did the work. When the service was completed, they texted me but did not notify him. After hours of waiting, he got up to ask when it would be done, and they said they texted him a long time ago. Why they didn't say something to him since he was sitting there the whole time, I do not know. Then when he went to get the car, they had failed to do the complimentary wash, so they took it back to do it and he had to wait some more. My husband was obviously furious, so they gave a "one time courtesy" discount on the oil change that amounted to around a $20-$30 savings. When he got the car (after the complimentary wash), there was a big sticky handprint on the inside driver's side window. Not a great experience to say the least. More

Still waiting on resolution I dropped my new truck off for a routine oil change at 7am on Wednesday, June 12. I was told I’d be notified as soon as it was ready to be picked up. I dropped my new truck off for a routine oil change at 7am on Wednesday, June 12. I was told I’d be notified as soon as it was ready to be picked up. By 1pm I’d heard no update and thought it odd. I called to check on my truck and was told that it was ready but there was an issue. My alloy wheel had been damaged and they had to call a repair man to fix it. I was taken aback that this was the first I’d heard of this incident but was assured the wheel was fixed. When I went to retrieve my truck I noticed quickly the damage to the wheel and the attempt to “fix” it was to spray some sort of metallic paint over the area that had been affected. I told the service rep that this would not do, and he agreed that it was pretty noticeable. He assured me he’d make it right even if it meant replacing the alloy wheel. He told me he would call the next day with more details on how he’d “make it right”. When I heard nothing by 3pm the following day I called back to the service department only to find that the representative I’d been working with was gone for the day. I left a message with the service manager to call me back to discuss this issue. The service manager returned my call and assured me he’d call me the following morning to discuss a way to “make things right”. Today would have been the time of that follow up and as of now (currently 1:30pm) I have heard nothing. In short, my new vehicle was damaged. I was joy informed when a “fix” was made. I have been now promised twice that I would be contacted to “make things right” and there has been no follow through. I do not feel that it is unreasonable to expect Better service. More
