The first time I brought my car here was because I was having issues with my engine. After they gave me a call and said my car was ready the same day I picked it up my engine light came right back on and having issues with my engine. After they gave me a call and said my car was ready the same day I picked it up my engine light came right back on and didn’t go off. So I kept calling but they seemed to never receive my calls after a day I returned my car and had them see what issue they couldn’t fix. I received my car again and this time my light came on so they put me in a lender and kept my car for some days to see what the issue was. After 4 days I received my car back and it’s working fine. I came to Jim Ellis GMC to test drive a 2020 Buick Envision. There was political paraphernalia on countertops and desktops. Your political and/or religious affiliations should not be on display. If my thoughts and values differs from the display Jim Ellis could lose a customer. The service desk clerk was ready to charge my account without first identifying if I was covering via a warranty. Having the warranty coverage saved me over $600. No one speaks or acknowledges your presence. Sure 2 reps were servicing customers. The 3rd rep was talking between the two servicing the other customers. No one said, good morning. We will be right with you. The 3rd rep after talking sat at the open terminal and became working on something on the computer. Never once did he acknowledge my presence nor address my need. After 10-15 minutes, one of the other reps finished assisting a customer. AND then said to me “do you have an appointment?” I had an appointment 15 minutes ago when I walked through your door sir. Good morning to you too. Whatever happened to loaner cars? I appreciate JE paying for a Lyft to the airport, but I still had to pay for a rental car until JE was finished repairing the warranty covered repairs. Fortunately, the repairs only took 3 days. And, my return to pick up my car was much more customer friendly than my initial visit to drop off my car…with the exception of the political paraphernalia. While I will recommend their service (because my car is running great), I will not be a repeat customer of this JE location. And if I walk into another JE and no one speaks or their political views or on display…I will no longer do business with this company. More
Most everything went well, but at the end it was late and the detailing shop was closed. As we were not nearby, the sales representative said they would try and get us a detail at a nearby Jim Ellis store. I the detailing shop was closed. However, we never received any thing on the detail even after contacting the sales representative a few days later. You missed a great chance to give superior customer service and satisfaction. More
