We apologize that we couldn't get the rate that you could get at the dealership you work at. What we quote is what we get from the banks we work with. No disrespect intended. Different banks have different guidelines and with any given customer situation, they come back with different rates. That's why we normally send the applications to another bank. And yes, the incentive "tagging" program that GM is running now has lead to a certain amount of dissatisfaction. The special incentives only apply to a limited amount of vehicles and it is very typical that "incentive watchers" wait for certain vehicles to apply and then reserve the applicable vehicles. We apologize for the miscommunication with the credit bureaus. They too rate customers differently so we normally pull all of the "big three" and use the best score to advocate the best possible rate for our customers. All that said, we apologize that you didn't have the promised "expect the best" experience from our Buick GMC dealership. Thank you for letting us know things went badly! We are known for things going well and we are continuously winning customer satisfaction awards. However, it’s obvious that we don’t get it right 100% of the time. In terms of the rebates, we think it was a communication problem. Consumers get the consumer rebates and they are the same no matter what Buick GMC dealer you go to. Sometimes, the complexity of the rebates creates discord as to be entirely accurate, we have to go into a program and put the VIN of a vehicle and the customers zip code to be 100% that we are giving all of the rebates that the customer is entitled to. In terms of feeling like you were ignored when you came to our lot, that concerns us. We will re-double our efforts in this area and correct the problem. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, we know how you feel as we are customers of other businesses and we don’t like it either. We hope you enjoy your new vehicle and if you deem us worthy of another try in the future, we promise to do better.
