Communication Once you drop your vehicle off it is very hard to get an update or talk to service advisor. I even tried to call the dealership manager. No one answers service phone number - just hangs up on you. I tried for hours to call service. No one answered, no way to leave a message to have some one call back. Poor follow-up Was told by service advisor on two occasions that he would follow-up with me by the end of the day (after I had to call to check status). And of cours Was told by service advisor on two occasions that he would follow-up with me by the end of the day (after I had to call to check status). And of course that wasn't done. Was told that my car would be available for pick-up on Saturday and that I would get a call by end of day Friday confirming that car would be ready and cost of repair. That was not done. After repeated phone calls on Saturday (my car had been there since Monday, a faulty water pump had been installed about 6 wks prior) I finally was informed my car was ready 30mins before service department closed and I live about 30minutes away (advisor was not in on Saturday. I feel like I got more help from the CSRs that answered the phone). Just really disappointed considering that this is the only transportation for my family. I feel that the advisor has poor follow-up, if he was not sure when my car would be ready or the cost, say that upfront, not tell me you would call by end of day when you know that you won't. Treat your customer as you would like to be treated. I know that this is a minor issue for some, but like I said, this is our only source of transportation. I felt like I was disregarded. I pass by a ton of auto repairs for service, to come here because I thought the service would be different. I beginning to think that this is not the case. Eventually I did receive help from the service manager, I believe, on Saturday. Once I was in for an oil change and I waited in the waiting room for over three hours because they forgot to tell me my car was ready. On another occasion I bought a battery from Sams club however they were unable to install. I took the battery to Ellis for them to install but they couldn't use it and I had to but one from them. They told me that the original battery was placed in my car,and it also said it on the paperwork, but of course it wasn't and I had to travel back to pick it up. Sorry for long message but needed to vent. More
