"The only thing I can do about the past is apologize" I do not feel as though my concerns about my vehicle are taken seriously at this location or that my vehicle is treated with the care or concern that I do not feel as though my concerns about my vehicle are taken seriously at this location or that my vehicle is treated with the care or concern that is advertised in this service center's values that are printed all over their walls and printed literature. I brought up multiple issues that I ran into last summer from a service standpoint with the new service advisor at Jim Ellis GMC and was told that for most of the complaints that I have, all he can do is apologize about the past. Rather than owning the issue and going the extra step to make sure everything is perfect with my vehicle, he made my concerns feel not legitimate and blamed my experience on the previous service advisor and administration that was in place at that time. I would go to another location in a heartbeat but unfortuantely I am having issues with how my vehicle is performing due to the new transmission that the service department put in my Yukon last summer. When I originally brought my vehicle in, there were no transmission issues. Upon taking their recommendation to perform their Gold Level 60,000 mile service on my car, they returned my car to me in inoperable condition. When they flushed the transmission system with new fluids and everything for the service I agreed to, it either created or exposed an issue with my transmission. Before I attempted to drive off, the technician even said out loud to the service advisor that he wasn't sure if the vehicle was ready to be driven. They gave it to me anyways and I made it two miles down the road with a car that would only suddenly lurch forward after pressing the gas. I pulled over and called them asking what had been done to my car. They then worked on it for three weeks and put a new transmission in the car. When I went to pick it up, they brought it out and there was a large scratch down the passenger side door. They said it had been vandalized or "keyed" and that they would be fixing it. Rather than inspecting my vehicle before returning it to me, I had to be the one to discover the huge mark on my door and once again had to leave my vehicle with them. They have since repainted my door twice and it still does not look great. This is no way to do business and is a huge disappointment and a daily headache for me. Something needs to be done More

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Slow to Complete Overall the people were extremely friendly, professional, and did a great job on the service of my vehicle. My service associate was also a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was done correctly. The only area for improvement was the time to complete the service. My appointment was at 9:10 am and I didn't leave the dealership until around noon for a standard oil change, tire rotation service with an appointment. I always go to the dealership and will keep going back, but to charge higher dealer service prices and compared to my experience with my wife's Infiniti at the dealership up the road, the service was much slower. In addition, a good deal of the delay was related to multiple people frustrated about having to get cars and pay money to Enterprise Rent-a-car when it seemed very clear that they shouldn't have had to. GMC is not an inexpensive vehicle, I have a GMC Yukon Denali. If the dealerships want the service business, they need to do a better job of making it easy for customers to drop off their cars. I thought this was being changed based on prior feedback. More

Customer Service Ended after agreeing to buy the vehicle I have now bought two vehicles from Jim Ellis dealerships. Unfortunately, though, this most recent purchase left much to be desired. I felt like the customer service ended once I agreed to buying a vehicle. I was told that the vehicle would be ready after waiting hours for financing. I had to walk from the Chevrolet dealership down to the GMC dealership after waiting 30 minutes for my vehicle to arrive but it never did. After walking to the GMC dealership, I waited another 30 minutes for my vehicle to be ready. Upon inspection of the vehicle, I found a large dent on the tailgate and a scratch inside the drivers door. I worked out a deal with my sales representative for tint to be added to my vehicle and have it delivered. I spent approximately 6 hours at the dealerahip buying the vehicle. I was told delivery would happen sometime Thursday morning. After many calls, most that went to voicemail, the vehicle was finally delivered after 7 p.m. This was extremely inconvenient because I was never informed the delivery would be that late. Upon delivery, there were streaks covering the doors from the tint application spray that was never cleaned up by the dealership prior to delivering it to my house. So, I had to clean my brand new vehicle. In conclusion, unfortunately I was dissatisfied with the customer service compared to my first purchase with Jim Ellis. More

However, it has been a week and we still don’t have them. We live over 50 miles away and do not want to return to get them. The rest of our experience was long but great. More
Bad News I arrived on time for my appointment but it was one hour before you took my car to look at it. It took you ten minuted to re-set the On-Star and you charged me $158.02 for the service. That equates to $948.12 per hour for labor. Absurd ! Tom Cantrell More
