I reached out to the Hendricks GMC dealership where I purchased my car several months ago to schedule an appointment in the service department and they told me it would be several days in the shop. They said that they do not offer any loaners or rental cars through their dealership so I would have to make arrangements outside of their dealership. I called Jim Ellis GMC and they could not have been any more accommodating and nice to me, even arranging for a rental car through their dealership for me since my car was still under warranty… I have only had it for four months. This dealership had the vehicle I wanted in stock to the exact spec. Unfortunately from the first phone call till delivery was a nightmare. Not only were they not on top of a $100k sale they didn’t follow u exact spec. Unfortunately from the first phone call till delivery was a nightmare. Not only were they not on top of a $100k sale they didn’t follow up and if I didn’t I would have not had the vehicle we wanted. Upon delivery not only was it not spotless the def fluid was empty. Paperwork showed 5 miles and was delivered with 55. Still waiting on where that mileage went. I would stay clear of this dealership unless you find yourself in my shoes where they had the only one closest to me in the country. More

I brought my truck in for a recall and while I was there a second recall was addressed and I agreed to pay for an oil change. That second recall was related to a battery drain issue. I asked the service department if they would reimburse me for my battery that I recently replaced due to this exact issue. The service manager was supposed to call me back and never did. I’ve called and texted the service desk multiple times. Never got a call back. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with your service department. I won’t be coming back unless it’s recall related and I likely won’t buy another vehicle from Jim Ellis. More
