will never come back about 3 months ago i got an oil change from them on my 2011 camaro SS and they told me the price would be $40 it ended up being $70. the old man that about 3 months ago i got an oil change from them on my 2011 camaro SS and they told me the price would be $40 it ended up being $70. the old man that worked there proceeded to tell me that i was going to mess my engine up by driving more than 5000 miles without an oil change. even though I use full synthetic oil that’s rated for 7000 miles. as of now i am doing my own oil and they tightened the oil can so much that i can’t even get it off. the can is literally crushing and i am loosening it. that alone will never make me come back currently i have my dad helping me because he is a mechanic and he is pissed at the person who put the oil can on More

I learned of them through searching the net for a particular vehicle I was looking for, and they happened to have a potential "Keeper" for me. I was very apprehensive at first, not knowing anyone at the dealer, or the area. I live about 3,000 miles away. I phoned the dealership to confirm that the vehicle I was interested in was still there, and I spoke with Lukas Simpson, who informed me that it in fact was still available. I said I'd like to come on in and check it out, and he said, "Great. It'll be up front and ready for you when you get here." I can't say enough about Lukas as my sales contact. No slick sales gimmicks, no pressure, no attempts at manipulative ploys. Just great, accomodating service. It sounds like a cliche, but we hit it off like this guys been my buddy for years. And trust me, I'm a skeptical type of personality. I ended up purchasing the vehicle I was interested in, for a price that I was comfortable with. No hassles. Just civil, relaxed negotiations. Lukas went above and beyond when I had questions and sent several pictures with all the information. Unbelievable! Gave me complete peace of mind, which we all know, is close to priceless. First time buying car and it went amazing! I was in the market to purchase a Chevy Bolt LT 2017, and I wasn't having much luck at the Vancouver/Portland area dealerships salesperson. Other deal I was in the market to purchase a Chevy Bolt LT 2017, and I wasn't having much luck at the Vancouver/Portland area dealerships salesperson. Other dealerships were not so informed with their products and actually provided misleading information which their numbers were based off of (as noted from my other car dealership review). However, thankfully, I ran into Lukas Simpson a sales representative at Jim Doran Chevrolet Subaru who made it all right. Lukas was upfront and very informed with everything such as what was currently available, the options the cars had, and any special deals on the car to reach an agreement number. I didn't feel like I was misled at any point during our conversations, so I made the trip from Vancouver, WA to McMinnville with my family hoping to test drive the Bolt and purchase it. Even before arriving at the dealership, Lukas provided helpful reminders (not always obvious or common sense) what to bring if we are hoping to buy i.e trade-in car, keys, documents, etc. From the second I arrived with my family, he greeted us with a warmly welcome and we cut right into the chase of test driving the Bolt and going from there. I have test driven some cars before, and I appreciate Jim Doran allowing us to actually test drive it more than a few blocks. I was able to go on small highways and go a few miles out to really get a sense of how the Bolt runs in the overall sense. Getting back to the dealership after the test drive, my family went right into numbers and it was a pleasant experience. There wasn't so much going back and forth type of games, so as a consumer I definitely appreciated that. Lukas was upfront with all the fees included with the price, their discounts and within the next hour I bought the Bolt! I can't speak the prices for all their cars, but I can definitely say I checked within a 100 mile radius and Jim Doran Chevrolet had the best price around and by far too. In a nutshell, very professional salesperson that is informed and upfront, a pleasant and thorough test drive, car kept clean and charged, and definitely a satisfying negotiation experience. Put all that together and I'm a happy camper. My family and I didn't feel like we wasted our time driving the hour to get to the dealership. I DO recommend purchasing a vehicle at Jim Doran Chevrolet Suburu! If you are in the market for one, definitely give them a visit and see what they can do for you. More

The most pleasant experience I have ever had with a car dealership! Good old-fashion small town feel to how this dealership handles their customers. I was treated with respect and they actually listened to the specifics of what I was looking for instead of trying to sell me something they were in a hurry to unload off their lot like I experienced with the other dealerships. I ended up ordering the specific truck I wanted through them. There was no pressure from the time I first walked through their doors through test drive to price negotiation and final purchase. Not only was Sales Consultant Lucas Simpson prompt and helpful in responding to questions through email and phone calls, he went above and beyond in keeping me updated about the delivery status of the truck I ordered. He even took the time to make sure I knew what every button in the cab was for and how it worked since I am a bit challenged when it comes to the new technology that comes with vehicles these days. When the truck finally arrived, manager Steve Thompson made the purchase paperwork process literally painless, very quick and simple. Two days after I drove my truck home, Lucas checked in to see if I had any questions or concerns and how I liked the truck so far. In all my dealings with this dealership both before and after the purchase I cannot find anything negative to say about them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car. When I am in the market for a new or used vehicle in the future, this is the dealership I am going to purchase from again. My family have purchased vehicles from this dealer many times in the past years. My mother-in-law recently passed away. My bereaved, confused, elderly father-in-law went to this dealer to replace his rem times in the past years. My mother-in-law recently passed away. My bereaved, confused, elderly father-in-law went to this dealer to replace his remote car door opener. This dealers staff used their high-pressure methods to convince him to buy a brand new vehicle. His years of driving are few now and for him to have been pushed into purchasing a new car is unconscionable. His income is social security and taking on this huge expense is a tremendous hard-ship on him. A couple days after they sold him the vehicle, a family member approached Mr. Johnson and asked him to do the right thing by taking back the new car and returning my father-in-laws old (only a few years old) car. Mr. Johnson was beyond rude and refused to discuss this. When asked to speak with the owner, my family member was asked to leave. When we call to talk with someone in authority that might be able to help, they refuse to take our call. Everyone should be warned about this dealers lack of compassion and sense of doing the right thing by his customers. More
