I purchased a Kia Forte from Tom Larca at the Jim Curley Kia dealership. My experience was great from start to finish. Since I had done my homework ahead of time, ruling out other makes of cars and alread Kia dealership. My experience was great from start to finish. Since I had done my homework ahead of time, ruling out other makes of cars and already narrowed down my selection to 2 models, Tom was well-prepared with a variety of selections for me to look at and test drive. I appreciated his respect for my time as we all know making up our mind is a long enough process without having to waste time waiting for the dealer to prep the cars to test drive. Tom had just the right balance between being there to provide me with the information I needed and giving me time to envision myself in the car for a long time to come. I never felt pressured into buying anything; just supported through the process. I am happy to say I walked in there in a 2005 car with 220,000 miles on it and walked out shortly after in a brand new, shiny, high-tech car that I absolutely love! KUDOS to Tom Larca and the Jim Curley dealership for a hassle free car buying experience! More
I was in a terrible situation, I was upside in a car loan and the car was recently in an accident that devalued it tremendously. I went to KIA with no hope of walking out with a solution to my problem. Kun, John, and the General Manager worked feverishly to help me get the car I wanted at an affordable price. My situation was not easy and they went back and forth until the deal I wanted was done. I was extremely happy with the service I received and I would definitely recommend using this dealership, I will for sure continue to get my cars from Kia! :) More

This is a remarkable dealership! I visited there on a very rainy uncomfortable day. All that changed when I met the personnel. Cynthia offered to become my sales person. All in all it was a pleasant experience with Cynthia and Chris. I came out with a beautiful new Buick Encore. Cynthia mentored all the features of the technology. Jim Curley Kia in Lakewood NJ had the exact truck i wanted at a great price but the dealership is 100 miles from my home. I worked with Jimmy via phone and email to work out a price for my trade and the financials on the new truck. Jimmy was awesome! Very patient, extremely helpful and always fast to respond even late in to the evenings sometimes. Since everything was worked out ahead of time, I simply drove down to the dealership, checked out the new vehicle (which was in the exact condition Jimmy said it was), signed the papers and was on my way home. Everyone at Jim Curley Kia was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Its just a shame they're so far away from me and I won't be able to have them take care of my maintenance as well. EDIT - 1/30/14 - After driving the car for about a week, the brakes started making a terrible noise (new pads had been fitted and the rotors resurfaced before I bought the car). Since Jim Curley was over 100 miles from my home, and on the advice of Jimmy, I took the car to my local Kia dealership (Gateway Kia in Denville NJ). They found that the front brake pads had been installed incorrectly. They we were very nice and switched the pads around and only charged me 30 mins labor. I let Jimmy from Jim Curley know the status and the result and asked that they refund me the cost ($58). After three weeks of chasing Jim Curley (both Jimmy and a manager named John Mastro) and despite promises of a call back, i was told by John that they would not be willing to refund the $58 as the work was not performed at their dealership. I am very disappointed by this outcome. It's not about the money, $58 is hardly the end of the world. It is more about the principal of the matter. When I initially dealt with Jim Curley, I felt as though I was dealing the good, honest people. I now see though that they just wanted to make a sale and wash their hands of me. Maybe it would have been different if i had lived closer to the dealership but I was not driving over 100 miles with bad brakes in the middle of a New Jersey winter. As a result of this turn of events, I have updated my scores given above. More

I am a novice when it comes to car buying. However, when my Ford broke down 100% and I needed a vehicle quickly I had to learn on the fly. After visiting half a dozen dealerships, I found myself at Jim Curley's in Lakewood. I was quickly greeted by John and Tom in a friendly and attentive manner. The two men were incredibly knowledgeable as well as incredibly patient and polite. They were able to find the right car for me which ended up being a Kia Sportage, which I am still very happy with. Though I knew the price was well worth the value, I was still apprehensive to make such a large purchase as it was not something I do often. The entire crew at the Jim Curley Dealership were very helpful, patient and understanding and made me feel very confident in my eventual decision to make the purchase. They even stayed late in a snow storm! It was the right call and I look forward to my future dealings with them. It was a pretty painless experience. I took care of most of what I could before I got to the Dealer. Financing, Trade in ect... I was out the door with my new/used Kia Sorento about 2 hours. much less time than it normally takes. Everyone was very friendly and Finance, Sales Manager and Car Salesman. It was actually an enjoyable experience. More
