Lead on I called Rahid on Monday Aug 29th about a Tacoma truck this was being delivered to Jim Coleman auto that I found on cars.com. I told Rahid I would put up a $500 security deposit to hold the truck when it gets in. He assured me there was no need just my name and phone number and he would call. Rahid said it was die in that night. I got a quote from Rahid in the form of an email and I replied that a accepted the deal. I called again on Tuesday and he said it's not in yet but would call me when it gets there. Today ( Wednesday) I called and was told the truck came in on Tuesday and has been sold. My bank (USAA) had already approved the purchase of this truck and sent an email to Rahid to inform him I was preapproved. I feel I was lead on to buy a truck I found online and it was sold from under an agreement that was made between us. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Jim Coleman auto and I will follow up with USAA car buying service. More
Bad Business Practices - False Promises I inquired about a used vehicle via Autotrader on June 13th, negotiated an out-the-door price by email, and planned a visit to the dealership on Satur I inquired about a used vehicle via Autotrader on June 13th, negotiated an out-the-door price by email, and planned a visit to the dealership on Saturday, June 18th (198-miles). I got in touch with the sales representative Larry Pang the morning I was going to drive down and confirmed that the vehicle was still available. He asked me to confirm whether I was en-route so he could hold the vehicle by " take[ing] awayb the keys" for me. I received an email 1.5-hours later while driving stating that the vehicle was sold. Larry and his manager Vince claimed that they did not have my number on file despite being in the original Autotrader inquiry and in a majority of my email signatures. Vince said that they are under no contractual obligation to hold the keys, which might legally be true, but it's just bad business. After a back-and-forth argument, the only positive outcome was that Vince offered to reimburse my travel expenses (i.e. gas, tolls, etc.) and said he would search for a comparable vehicle. I don't know why I decided to give the dealership a second shot, but sure enough he found an amazing car. I reached out to him multiple times via email only to discover that he was on vacation. Another sales representative, named Ravid (spelling?) apparently tried reaching out to me a week later by calling the wrong number multiple times. They never once thought to look at their records or respond to any of the four messages I sent. All in all, this was a disappointing experience. I told Vince that I was no longer interested in doing business with him because I did not trust him to which he responded: "Your statement of "not trusting me" is something I've never been told in my professional career....almost 20 years in the car business". There was no mention of the reimbursement despite him bringing it up in the first place. This was by far the worst car buying experience of my life. I have no doubt that this is an unusual experience given the dealerships size and growth. However, I think that this experience should serve as an example for others consumers. More

Instead of just giving up and me and sending me away, the manager Arslan came in, talked to me and worked some kind of magic to give me a discount that brought the payments into my range. I got the car and totally love it. Godwin the finance manager and Arslan the manger really went the extra mile for me and they were also professional and friendly all the way through. This is the best place to by a Toyota if you want to be treated well. They also gave me a great deal on my trade. TOP NOTCH DEALERSHIP!! More

I have the worst credit anyone can think of (well to me)...I have a bankruptcy that discharged a couple months go. Two cars on my bankruptcy and a high credit usage. I got shot down at one dealership, went to another...no go - shot down again. Third times a charm is a TRUE saying. Harald from Jim Cole Toyota called me and worked out the most amazing deal ever for me. He promised me that he will get me driving home in a car and he sure did. He doesn't play games, he got us IN AND OUT in no time!!! It was the fastest process ever!!! Harald is upfront and honest with you from point A to B. Larry our sales person was awesome to work with as well, him and my husband had a few laughs which was great. This was a very personable experience and I HIGHLY recommend Jim Coleman Toyota...ASK FOR HARALD and LARRY (I forgot his last name, sorry LARRY!!!) We will be coming back for our future cars!!! More

Based on this information I decided to leave another dealership and was about to leave for Jim Coleman but then I receive a call that no vans are available in stock. In 30 min they were able to sell all Sienna XLEs in stock....wow. I can still see those online on Jim Colemans website so atleast tell me the truth. I think the sales person committed a price but the manager said no. So my piece of advice, don't trust the what the sales person are telling you at Jim Colemas as they will not honor the price quoted to you. More
