I go to school in Auburn, but naturally my car broke down 100 miles away. I found the nearest Pontiac dealership and left the car with Asst. Manager Steve Bailey. He took my car after hours during that snowy 100 miles away. I found the nearest Pontiac dealership and left the car with Asst. Manager Steve Bailey. He took my car after hours during that snowy weekend and then kept me updated throughout the week as to what needed to happen with my car. My schedule while at school keeps me busy throughout the day so all week Steve had to bend over backwards to inform me what was going on. On Friday I couldn't leave Auburn until 3pm because of class and then due to traffic I made it to Birmingham just before 6, but yet again Steve waited to make sure I got my car and that everything was running ok. I can't explain how great it was that you have employees that will go above and beyond to help their customers. Already in a bad situation because my car wasn't working Steve did more than is required of him to ensure that I was taken care of and I really wanted to take some time to ensure that his hard work did not go unnoticed. We went to a few other Nissan dealerships before going to Jim Burke. We were not treated nearly as well at any other dealership as we were at Jim Burke. We were probably one of the most difficult customers being that we were going back and forth between 4 cars, but Rexanne was extremely patient with us and assured us she would put us in the car we would be most comfortable in. Every other dealership urged us to pick something off of their lot whether it was the vehicle we wanted or not, Rexanne went out of her way to contact other dealerships to trade vehicles, so we could have the exact one we wanted. The prices were awesome and we had to do no bargaining! Best car buying experience i've had by far! More
Rexanne Smith was very patient and helpful during the whole process. My wife and I had very specific questions reqarding vehicles and financing options and she was very knowledgable in both topics. We had her running back and forth for a couple of hours trying to find the right vehicles and price and ended up going home. Even after all the time spent she did not act as if it was "time wasted". Her and her team were very effective in locating the vehicles that we wanted, they did not try to sell us something we did not want. In the end with purchases two vehicles that we were extremely happy with and I would higly recomend Rexanne and her team to anyone. Manny More

After communicating with Tracy, an appointment was set for me to come to the dealership and look at a Nissan Versa, which we did. After a thorough inspection of the automobile, a deal was made. Tracy is a very professional sales person, and certainly knows what she is doing. Meeting her and seeing how she handled everything with ease, made it a very positive experience. When the paper work was ready, Bryan had everything lined up for my signature. He was also a very knowlegeable employee and it was great meeting him. We were given a tour of the facility - parts department, service department and where you wait while your car is being serviced. I am enjoying driving the new auto, and will recommend others to your dealership if I have the opportunity. Myrna More
I requested a quote online. I received the quote via e-mail as requested. Couple of e-mails later I went in and everything went smoothly and quickly. This is a very unusual dealership. It was a treat to call Tracy and tell her what I wanted for a car and the price range and could they help me. She did some research and called me back and said "yes" call Tracy and tell her what I wanted for a car and the price range and could they help me. She did some research and called me back and said "yes" they could. Saying a dealership will do something and getting it done are sometimes not the same thing, but to me delight, they did. I set up my test drive via the internet (for more savings) and gave Tracy the info to pre-qualify me. Boom, less than a hour later, Tracy called back and said its approved. Had to leave town for a couple of days, so I set my test drive up for the following Monday. Upon arriving at the dealership, I noticed they had the car right in front waiting for the test drive. I was a little disappointed to learn that Tracy was sick that day, but Robert Purdy stepped in said he could take care of me. He explained the features of the car and away we went. Needless to say, we loved the car. Robert set about doing the paperwork and passed us on the finance dept. When the paperwork was done, the car price was what we agreed on. Amazing.. The only draw back was with the service dept. The keys had not been programmed and I thought that taking 45 mins to 1 hour to reprogram was a little excessive. Again, Thanks, Tracy and Robert for making it an enjoyable buying experience. More
Horrible experience when trying to close a deal on a new 09 Altima. Least friendly salesperson and extremely rude and un polite. I had asked for a good price so that I wont have to bargain much and he was fixed with the MSRP! WHO WILL BUY AT MSRP ? I asked if we can work / negotiate on the price: and the look/glance the sales person gave at me and with his tone of speaking: I did not waste even a single minute more and walked out of the dealership. I have visited other dealerships and could very well see the difference. When the other dealerships were working hard to earn the business and sell a vehicle in this struggling economy, Jim Burke sales person was more incline in trying to get rid of its customer. I had a horrible experience and would NOT recommend anyone further to buy from them. Go to the other dealerships and you will get a better deal and definitely more warmth and better friendly service. Saw ad in paper called got the manager he invited me in and I picked out a car that was the advertised special and within 45 minutes was leaving in my brand new car. Was quite a breath of fresh air.
