We just came by Jim Burke Nissan to look at a car for our son with no intentions of purchasing until December. After working with Wendy (she is an outstanding salesperson) on a price, the finance manager Bri son with no intentions of purchasing until December. After working with Wendy (she is an outstanding salesperson) on a price, the finance manager Brian came out and talked with us, he made us feel like we were part of his family. After Brian worked out a great price and payment the sales manager, Ron came out and spoke with us. We were so impressed at this point we continued to get our trade car looked at. Even though it had a few problems Ron worked really hard to get us as much for it as he could. We purchased a new Altima and left feeling great. Our entire visit to Jim Burke was the best we have ever had. Wendy, Brian and Ron should be commended for their outstanding customer service. We will bring all our business to Jim Burke from this day forward, from our next purchase to the service on all our vehicles. Above all she was fair and the price she give us went right alone with Edmund's and what Nissan LE's are going for with that type of packaged.. Tracy Duran was honest about the internet quote. She really tried to help me get the car I wanted. She was the lowest price of all the internet dealers and the most honest. Tracy gave me the best price they could offer knowing I was already working with other dealers and so I got a good deal on exactly what I wanted. The dealership facilities at Jim Burke Nissan in downtown Birmingham were clean, modern-looking, and inviting. Dealership staff was friendly and not too pushy. After looking at their available inventory, and not finding the car with the options we wanted, instead of trying to push us into buying one of the cars in their lot, they searched for the car we wanted and located at a location 200 miles from Birmingham. They called and made arrangements to bring the car to us at no (apparent) extra charge. They also stayed over their normal work hours in order to finish the paperwork for our purchase. Our price expectations were almost met. Financing was very good; however since our credit is good at the moment, we did not expect any problems there. The only thing is that we wish the Nissan we purchased had come with an extended warranty, since we had to purchase additional warranty, which is not necessary when purchasing other brands, such as Hyundai, Kia, and lately GM. These brands provide a 5-year bumper to bumper warranty. Nissan's bumper-to-bumper warranty is only 3 years. We acknowledge that this is not a dealership issue but a manufacturer issue. However, the dealership offers free oil changes, which we appreciate. After finishing the paperwork, since we were not able to take our car that same day, the dealership provided us with a demo car and gas, which we appreciated. Our car was delivered on the next business day. When we arrived to pick it up, it was in pristine condition, as they had cleaned it from the 200-mile road trip. Tracy, the sales employee who worked with us, showed us the features in the car and congratulated us on our purchase. Overall, we are satisfied with the purchase. More
Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep went out of their way to find my beloved 2010 6.1L Hemi Challenger in Plum Crazy Purple. I had not known these cars were produced in this color until after the window for ordering had closed. After I explained things a bit, now they fully understand why my car HAD to be purple!! They successfully conducted a dealer trade to get my vehicle from a dealer in Ohio, even at a price lower than most folks have been paying for these cars (by virtue of my association with USAA). Because I was so anxious to close the deal before the car was possibly sold out from under me by the other dealer, Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep sent a finance representative to meet me off-site to fill out paperwork when it was impossible for me to get to the dealership location. They then FEDEXed a check to the Ohio dealer overnight. Rather than cause a high cost to me for shipping, I was given the option to pick up the car myself in Ohio two days later. Upon my return to Alabama, I was asked to bring the car to Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep for a complete detail and tank fill-up, which I did, and which they did. After the sale, they realized that, by mistake, they had made a service promise for free oil changes for as long as I own the car which normally did not apply to the model car I bought, but have decided to honor it anyway. Even beyond all this, when they failed to inform me of the Mopar Bucks Program (C25A) at the time of sale, through which Chrysler LLC promised to grant me up to $2,000 worth of parts and accessories for the customization of my car for making the purchase within the program window, they are at this time working with Chrysler to make sure I do not lose this benefit. I am a single working mother and I needed to do as much over the phone as possible. I contacted dealerships all over AL, TN and MS. Tracy was, by far, the most helpful and easist to work with. Some of the dealerships did not respond at all. She committed to the price and got me what I wanted. She is well-informed and knowledgeable of the vehicles and obviously well organized because she always called me back in a timely fashion or followed up with me while I was still trying to make a decision. Her professionlism and overall attitude is why I finally quit shopping around and made the decision the purchase. I had one saleman call me after I had bought and was so ugly to me because I didn;t buy from him. He had told me he would beat Jim Burke's price, but his attitude was horrible. Tracy was a delight to work with. She toured me around the dealership and even had flowers for my new vehcile for Saint Patrick's Day. She just went the extra mile. More
