I purchased a 2012 jeep liberty 0n 8/31. On 9/2 the check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone for diagnosis they said there was a slight leak in the evap system and sold me a new gas cap. The check engine light came on. I took it to auto zone for diagnosis they said there was a slight leak in the evap system and sold me a new gas cap. The light stayed on so I called Jim Browne and was told my salesman was on vacation. I w as unable to get back to the dealership until the next Tuesday due to labor day. I suspected they had turned off the check engine light to make a quick sale. When I told service this they said that was impossible, if they did that the light would come back on as soon as I restarted the car. They then said they would check the evap system for $150.00. I walked out on this kind offer, went home and turned off the light with my obd and have been driving with the light off ever since. This seems like some pretty shady business practice to me. More
I bought a pick up from here, I was pleased with the service until 3 days after I drove off the lot. They had messed up the paperwork as well as the tabs, it said the sold me a different vehicle then wh service until 3 days after I drove off the lot. They had messed up the paperwork as well as the tabs, it said the sold me a different vehicle then what I actually owned. Following that they told me they fixed the a/c fan but it stopped working with in a week of driving it off the lot. Following that I have had many breakdowns and have put in just under $2000 in repairs before I have even made a payment. I even purchased an extended warranty, but it won’t cover anything that has broken down. When speaking to them they couldn’t be less concerned. More
