Good deal, great purchase experience! I came in to Jidd Motors after sending an inquiry through Cars.com about a Ford Mustang coupe that they had showing "in stock". A few quick minutes later, Brian contacted me over the phone to help answer my questions about it. He also offered detailed driving directions from where ai live, so I could come in and test drive it that night. The Mustang was washed and waiting in the parking area out front when I did arrive, and it looked stunning! He let me take a long, relaxed drive around Des Plaines and Mt Prospect to really get a feel for how it drove, then we went back to the Jidd Motors showroom and discussed my least favorite part- the price. Still, Brian was respectful and kind when he confirmed what their best available selling price would be. I got a "fair deal"... guess that car dealers have to make some money to keep the lights on and employees fed right? Even so, Brian kept on being nice to me until it was time to drive my new car home. He even called me and sent a hand-written thank you letter to me after I left, just to express that he appreciated my business and hoped to hear from me again in the future. Never have I bought a car before and gotten that kind of professional courtesy AFTER taking the car home! Keep up the good work, Brian. More

They said they might not be able to sell the Jeep because Car Fax shows as possible odometer roll back. They showed me the Car Fax and it showed possible odometer rollback. Now the jeep is listed on their website at 19555 with retail value of 24555 and the Carfax they are now providing shows no odometer rollback. So in other words, I got ripped off. To top it off, the jeep I bought from them already needs repairs. Tail light filling with water and console lights blink in and out. Stay away from these guys. More

BEWARE!!!! I went to Jidd Motors because they seemed trustworthy, boy was I wrong. The salesman James seemed to know nothing about the vehicle, even the fact tha I went to Jidd Motors because they seemed trustworthy, boy was I wrong. The salesman James seemed to know nothing about the vehicle, even the fact that it was stolen according to the Carfax. I specifically asked him if there was a problem with the engine light and flat out said NO! Well lo and behold not more than 5 minutes after the deal was done and I was on the expressway the engine light went on. I went to a mechanic and had the computer hooked up and 6 codes popped up. Doesn't take a genius to clear the computer so the engine light temporarily stays off. I guess that thorough inspection they claim kinda missed all these issues. A new battery and starter for starters is a $400 hit, I already replaced the plugs and coil packs. I'm afraid to fathom the future costs to keep this lemon running. Watch all the positive reviews because as a recent review stated its easy for your buddies to write positive reviews to pump up this business. This was a bad experience and this salesman James is a flat out liar. I wrote him a letter, called him and emailed him without a response. I regret not going to CarMax because they at least have a 5 day return policy. If you do business here please be careful. More

Allow me to introduce BUYER BEWARE! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! This place gets three D's and a F for Deceitful, Dishonest, Disingenuous, and Fraudulent. Allow me to introduce who I am: a United States Marine, a Honors Graduate from Bradley Univ, and first and foremost, an advocate for consumer rights. I have traveled to 5 Continents, been around the world, and never have I seen a place like this. First off, they are owned by Middle Easterners. It even says on their homepage “Jidd Motors is a Family owned dealership that originated many years ago overseas.” Second, I was lied too. Thirdly, THEY HAVE 6 BBB COMPLAINTS! If that doesn't convince you, then maybe my story will. They had an ad for a Lexus Hybrid at $13,855. I called them to make an offer over the phone (since I lived several hours away). They asked me what I wanted to pay and I said $11,900. The salesman, James, said “there is no way your going to find another vehicle like this for that price.” Then he said “are you next to your computer?” I said “yes”, he said “go to cars.com and type in the make and model and year.” So I did. To my surprise up came two vehicles that were the same (but had more miles on them). One was for $11,990 and the other was $11,800. James suddenly said “uuuuuu, let me talk to my manager”. I said “OK” He comes back on the phone and says “If you print out that ad, we will match it. I said, “Look, I’m 3 hours away, don't waste my time, I'm a single parent and I have very little time.” He said and I quote “We will make it worth your while.” So I made the trip the next day with my son. I get up there at 4 pm. and they don't even have the car cleaned! The inside was a mess. The carpet had red stains on it, the buttons on the drivers side were scratched, the vinyl for the dashboard had a 2 foot gash in it and buttons were missing for the center console. Then I pulled out my tire tread depth gauge and it read 4/32. Just in case you don't know, its illegal to sell a vehicle with tire tread less than 5/32. So...after I mention this to James, he replied “You don't expect it to be perfect do you!” Then I asked for my sons opinion (simply b/c I been raising him on my own for the past 14 years), and James rudely said “why you asking him, is he going to be driving it?” So then we did a test drive, the knob for the shifter was gone! I said, “where's the shifter” James said “I have it”, I said “you expect me to drive it without the shifter?” he said “Yes”. At this point my son was like, this place is a joke.” After the test drive we go back in and I show him the ad that he told me he would honor. Now here is were it really gets interesting. He pulls up cars.com and says to me “I can't find it on here” I went to HIS computer and told him how to bring it up. Mind you, this was the guy who showed me over the phone! After I pulled it up he quickly covers up the ads by pulling up some search, and I said “get rid of that search on there” Lo and behold, there were the other two cars for $11,990 and $11,800. Then he reneged on his offer! He said “well my manager is not here and I can't offer you that price.” I said “what can you do”, he said $13,855” I said “that’s full price!” He said “that’s what you will have to pay” I said “You wasted my time and I will put this review on the web, to which he replied “OK.” Then the manager called me the next day and hung up on me! So there you have it folks, if you like a place that is dishonest, untrustworthy, deceitful, disingenuous, and disrespectful, this may be the place for you. Oh, one last thing, I checked into their reviews, whats funny is they either have all perfect 5 star reviews or very poor 1 star reviews. You know why that is right? My manger use to do it for her restaurant, they have either the employees or someone they know right a review for them to make it look as if they are the best! Serious, how else do explain that there are no reviews with a 2 or 3 or 4 stars? PS: I found a Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited, absolutely perfect on the inside for $13,000 at Fort's Toyota in Pekin! More

One of my friends recommended me to take my car into service at Jidd Motors so I decided to give them a try. I walked into the service department and was greeted by Faris and Omar as soon as I walked in service at Jidd Motors so I decided to give them a try. I walked into the service department and was greeted by Faris and Omar as soon as I walked in and interrupted their conversation. While waiting for my routine oil change to be completed, Omar was giving me a tour of the dealership. I was introduced to the President and they both were very kind and respectful. My oil change was completed in 30 minutes AND the entire service department was SLAMMED! When my oil change was done, Faris from the service department walked over to the sales department to inform me. I will go back for sure to get more help from these gentlemen at this dealership. thats what I call customer service! More
