Needed a oart - told at least 3 days to get it (any auto store had it) First told me it would be about $1000, but then the quote was $2200 Lost the key - waited on the curb 45 minutes for them to find it Took it elsewhere - $1200 for the repair, oil change, checked all the systems, brakes, everything. Prior to Jessup, I had all work done by dealers and never had an issue - even my Mercedes dealer is a better deal. More

For us, our experience depends on who the service writer is. Some are truly on top of their responsibilities others are complacent. We’ve had some major work done on our vehicle and the techs have done a good job. More

Worst nightmare of my life! When I picked up my car after going in for what I thought would be a routine service (and paying over $600), I asked if anything else needed to be do When I picked up my car after going in for what I thought would be a routine service (and paying over $600), I asked if anything else needed to be done because I was driving from Palm Springs to LA the next day to see my cancer doctor. I was told that nothing else needed to be serviced. But when I got home, there was an email from Jessup saying my water pump - "NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION" that is, it needed to be replaced! AND the email also had a LONG list of other items that needed service - totaling over $1,000! THEN, the EMAIL STATED, "customer declined services"! How in the world could I have "declined (additional) services" when I was not told I needed them - even though I specifically asked several times if I needed more work done because I wanted to make sure I could drive my car safely to see my cancer doctor in LA!!! Even my wife asked them at Jessop if I needed more service to my car because of my doctor's appointment!! So, I called Jessup and the service guy told he he had CONFUSED my car with another customer's car!!! Then the Service Manager later called me and also admitted their mistake that my car had been confused with another customer's car. He then recommended that I "forgive" the service guy who did my work because, "he was new"!!! Well, my melanoma (skin cancer) would not "forgive me" if my car broke down on the way to LA for a cancer check-up and I'd miss my doctor's appointment!!! This is a shocking lack of professionalism, especially from such a large service center! THEN the service manager told me the water pump leak was "small" and I could drive the car safely - but not for long distances. REALLY? Which story is true? Do I need to give "immediate attention" to the water pump (as the Jessop email stated) - or is it a 'slow leak' - and does that make it safe to drive all the way to LA and back to my home in Palm Springs in the same day? So, I took my car to Mazda where my wife gets her car serviced and they had to recheck EVERYTHING because I wasn't sure if Jessup had actually done the $600-plus work that they had claimed they did (and I paid for) and if I really needed a new water pump because of THEIR confusion. Mazda then replaced the water pump and checked my entire car from top to bottom. If I had broken down on the freeway to LA, which is about a 4-hour drive in the morning during rush hour traffic (from my home one-way), it could have been a very dangerous situation if my water pump blew! Also, I am elderly which makes me a target for crime if I break down on the freeway. Or, if I break down, I could get in an accident on the freeway. Besides, breaking down on a freeway is dangerous no matter what. How amazing - my cancer did not kill me....but wow, I want to make sure my car is serviced correctly so it does not kill me! My wife ended up using her Mazda to drive me to LA for my doctor's appointment. Her car has over 200,000 miles but drives like new because of the exceptional service she receives from Mazda!!! Thank God for Mazda who serviced my car correctly and professionally! More

My big complaint was the time spent there. When I made the appointment I made sure to say all I wanted was an oil change and tire rotations and that I would wait for the car. It was repeated when I showed up. It should not take 2 hours for a simple tire rotation and oil change. More
