Service department couldn't explain why my PHEV does not function as originally advertised, so the issue of why the drive battery will not fully discharge (according to the range meter) remains unresolved. function as originally advertised, so the issue of why the drive battery will not fully discharge (according to the range meter) remains unresolved. Service advisor only allowed me to take a picture of a Service Bulletin (like it's top secret) related to battery degradation, but in my opinion, the information was unrelated to my situation because I have another car with the same drivetrain that functions correctly. So, basically, I have a car that is supposed to run on battery power and the gauges indicate that it will, but it runs on gasoline instead. Oh well. I give three starts because the ROUTINE maintenance performed during this visit was fine. More
