I moved to Jerry Ulm for service in 2018 due to not being happy with the previous dealership I was using after moving to Florida from another state. Jennifer provided updates while service is being performed which makes her customers feel like they are truly important. I recently purchased another Dodge product from another dealership (due to Jerry Ulm not having exactly what I was looking for and I didn't want to have to wait) but as with my other Dodge products, I am taking it to Jerry Ulm for service. Arrived for scheduled spray-in Bed-liner installation before 8am. Was told I would receive an update by lunch. I checked in via text message system with no response, and noticed my truck was in the same before 8am. Was told I would receive an update by lunch. Checked in again a few hours later, and was told my truck would not be worked on that day. I took a day off of work to complete this since I was told when making the appt that it would be done in one day. It was clear Bobby had no idea that the truck sat there all day without moving. After arguing with Bobby he was able to get the installation completed by 5 pm. After this experience I will go elsewhere for service in the future. This is unfortunate because I had such a good buying experience with your dealership. More
This was the worst experience in my 35+ years of owning a vehicle. Terrible place unless you want to be upsold on Services that the "Dealership" recommends and not necessarily a factory recommendation. If yo vehicle. If you are told you need a Throttle Body Cleaning or your differential fluid changed this is a tip that you are being fleeced most likely. Not saying you don't need these services but read up on these things before you give them the Ok to empty your wallet. The Service "Advisors" are nothing but there to upsell you. Unfortunately, everything after the sale/close has be awful. Zero follow up from accessories when I committed to ~13K in add ons. I was told they would keep me updated and call me but that never happened. I had to call in multiple times for follow up but in all fairness they got the add on work done and it looks great. My main problem is I bought the truck with a tear in the front seat. They said they would fix it and I made an appt. FYI wasn't fixed while they had it for accessories. Took 2 hours off work and drove the hour down with my wife following only to realize that no appt recorded and they don't fix tears in house. Made an appt for the following week. Took 2 hours off work to get there and realize no appt record. I ended up just leaving the truck there. Zero follow up for days. I called into service and left many messages but never got a call back. They are just too busy. Called Sales management and was promised a call back - never got one. Sergio, sales rep, has tried to help but no follow up from service or ETA. Service called Friday and mid sentence the line went silent and dead. No call back. I paid $84K for the truck. Outside of my house it's the largest purchase my family has made and we regret buying from Jerry Ulm. You may pay a little more somewhere else, but find a dealership that cares after the sale. More
I purchased a $74k Dodge Ram Limited 1500 from Jerry Ulm as they had the color and style I wanted in stock. I should not have made this impulse purchase and should have waited for the Dealer I preferred and as they had the color and style I wanted in stock. The day after I purchased my truck the A/C was not working. I took into their Service Department and they had the vehicle for 4 days. I received multiple explanations from the Salesman who sold me the Vehicle and their Service Department on what was wrong with it and repaired. I picked the vehicle up and drove it home. The next day the A/C was not working again. I am pretty sure they did nothing or did not have the technical qualifications to make the repairs on a new vehicle. I tried to contact the Salesman I dealt with when I purchased the vehicle and later was contacted by him a told that he no longer works with that Dealership and I need to contact their Service Department. I contacted their Service Department around 9:00am and was told by a Service Rep or Advisor as they call them that he has taken my information and the Service Manager will contact me shortly. I waited till around 3:00pm and still had not received a call, so I called their Service Department back. The person I spoke with told me to bring it in at 8:00am the next day. The next day I showed up and their Service Department is backed up and like a parking lot. Someone came to my window and asked me my name and what I was there for. I explained I was told to be there at 8:00am to have the A/C issue repaired. He informed me that I was not on the list and did not have an appointment, but he would try to assist me. I spoke with him about the issue and I guess there was no documentation regarding the first time (the day after I purchased the truck) it was in their shop. I was told I could rent a minivan from the Enterprise that they have onsite at the Dealership. I explained that this has been an issue since I purchased the vehicle and I needed to be put in a truck as I need a truck for what I do for a living/work hints why I purchased a truck to own and did not expect a new vehicle to be in the shop routinely. I was told to speak with the Service Manager. I waited by his office for about 30 or 40 minutes to speak with him. I received no information other than his business card and he told me to email him to contact him. I then learned I can take the new Dodge Ram to any dealer to have warranty and service done to it and it doesn't have to be done there, so I am in the process of getting that done now. Horrible service. Do not purchase here as you will eventually have to deal with this and they will leave you stranded at your own cost as they do not care once you purchase and they have your money. They advertise getting you to and from your service appointments and this is via Lift or Uber, not an internal service of the Dealership. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase a new vehicle from this organization as they are a nightmare to deal with. I should have read all the reviews before I made my purchase, but made an impulse purchase with them as they had what I wanted in stock. Their Service Department is extremely unsatisfactory and I don't wish that experience upon anyone. More
