I’m extremely disappointed with my experience this Dealership. I bought a used 2017 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van on February 11, 2023. I was assured that the engine would be replaced with a brand-new one a Dealership. I bought a used 2017 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van on February 11, 2023. I was assured that the engine would be replaced with a brand-new one and i would have a 100,000-mile / 5-year warranty. However, it turned out that only the engine block was replaced, not the entire engine as promised. After the purchase I've faced several issues. On April 4, 2023, I returned the van due to AC problems, and the engine being on. The service department blamed rodent damage, which seemed unlikely. I had to return on April 10, 2023, for a malfunctioning brake light. Despite multiple attempts, the engine light remained on, and the van’s critical role in my business prevented me from leaving it in service for 2-3 weeks. By October 2, 2023, new problems emerged: a ticking sound when locking and unlocking doors, intermittent AC issues, and water seeping into the back door. The check engine light still on. On June 11, 2024, the engine light still on and the van started losing power while driving. The vehicle was in service for a month without being provided a loner car. When I picked up the van on July 6, 2024, I found it still had issues: the AC blew hot air, and the passenger door wouldn’t close properly. The van has been in service for nearly 40 days, significantly disrupting my business. My frustration peaked when I sought assistance from the finance department. On July 6, 2024, I tried to speak with a finance manager but was redirected by a salesperson who admitted he was sent to divert me. I was told to return the next day at 10 a.m. when it would be less busy. On July 7, 2024, I waited while the finance department joked loudly in their offices. When a finance manager(Steven) finally called for me, he barely listened and asked for my phone number before walking out to socialize. When he returned with another finance manager, I tried to explain my issues but was interrupted and offered an upgrade instead of a resolution. I was then walked to the service manager because of the repair delay. He confirmed only the engine block had been replaced and promised to address the AC issue. I returned to the finance department and requested a copy of my contract. I explained that the flash drive I was given when I signed the contract appeared as “corrupted.” I requested a copy of the full contract for my records and to review what I had signed. Steven printed out three pages and handed them to me. When I asked for a copy of everything I had signed, he insisted that the other pages were not important and began going through the contract line by line, as if I hadn’t understood him. I insisted on having a copy of all the documents I had signed, stating that if the additional pages were not important, then I wouldn’t have needed to sign them. He reiterated that those pages were not important and argued that he could not provide copies of those documents because they were over a year old. I asked whom I could contact to obtain copies of those documents, and he said I would need to return Monday through Friday before 3 p.m. He then continued to argue that he had already provided me with the contract, and I reiterated that I wanted the entire content of the flash drive. As I finished speaking, he stood up, walked to the door, and motioned for me to leave. On July 18, 2024 I returned to speak with the sales manager and I requested a copy of my contract, and to my surprise, the second manager I had spoken to on July 7, 2024, provided me with the full contract. This demonstrated that the Steven's refusal to provide the documents documents was simply due to his annoyance with me rather than any legitimate reason. This experience has been one of the worst I’ve encountered with customer service. I was essentially dismissed by a manager who displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. The entire process at this dealership has been disappointing. If I could give Steven 0 stars I would. More
It looks like only 4 stars and above are being shown, meaning my rating will not make the cut. I've been purchasing vehicles from Jerry Ulm Dodge since early 90's. During those years, when owned by a meaning my rating will not make the cut. I've been purchasing vehicles from Jerry Ulm Dodge since early 90's. During those years, when owned by an Ulm family member; Sales, Service, parts/accessories was phenomenal! They seem to have lost that personal touch and are only concerned with lining their pockets. Their Sales Managers are clueless, do not negotiate or do not know how and once again could careless whether you've been a loyal customer and bought close to 10 vehicles over the past 25 years from that dealership. There service department is trash!! They dont know if they're coming or going! need parts for wife's Durango. Waited months for them to come in, so when they finally told us parts came in, we dropped off the car, only to get a call next day to tell us they cannot find the part or it did not come in. Is that an inconvenience or what! I could go on and on over the past couple of years on other war stories, but wont waste anymore of my time writing. maybe i'll go to 8 on your side so the word can get out there on their xx sales tactics, very poor service and lack of any loyalty for long time customers. i'm sure i'm not the only one who feels this way, but like i said, this review probably wont get noticed. So I received an ad in the mail for a $29 oil change with free tire rotation. I took it to Jerry Ulms service center, presented my coupon and pointed out that it also said free tire rotation. I then explai free tire rotation. I took it to Jerry Ulms service center, presented my coupon and pointed out that it also said free tire rotation. I then explained that I have Endurance Warranty and they will pay for the oil change. (Endurance Warranty will cover up to $50 for oil changes-this is NOT prepaid maintenance) So I let the service manager know all this, give him the phone number for Endurance. I go to pick up my Jeep and he tries to charge me $30. I says what for, Endurance covers that amount there on the coupon. He says because he billed Endurance for the tire rotation AND the regular priced oil change of $80. Endurance covered the tire rotation and $50 of the oil change. I grab the coupon and show him oil change with FREE tire rotation all for only $29.99. He gives me some xx about that's not how it works with prepaid maintenance this that and another. I told him I don't have pre paid maintenance it is an extended warranty, he says well to us its prepaid maintenance. What did you think you were gonna just walk in here and get a thirty dollar oil change, it doesn't work like that. I said yes, it does, honor your coupon. Well it says here up to five and your jeep took 6, then you have disposal charge and filter and labor. Once again I grab the coupon and read off what is covered. Nowhere on here does it say I will have extra service charges for whatever you just rambled off. My Endurance warranty should have never even been charged for a tire rotation-that should never even have been in the equation because your ad says its free. He kept up with some other explanation that had others confused, even the service manager that took my Jeep at the beginning. As soon as I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor, he back peddled said don't worry about it....I'm gonna take care of it, like he was doing ME some sort of favor. Shady xxx business p[practice from the folks. Beware! More

2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel On July 27, the back of my truck was setting low. I started the vehicle, and the dashboard displayed a message needing immediate service on the suspension. I lowered the truck truck was setting low. I started the vehicle, and the dashboard displayed a message needing immediate service on the suspension. I lowered the truck to entry level, reset it and then raised it back up to third position. This happened several times. I called Jerry Ulm Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (2966 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33607) to get an appointment for my truck to be serviced. My appointment was scheduled for July 28 at 10:30am. On 7/28/2023, I brought the truck there at 9:30am and gave my keys to Jeff Slone, my service advisor. I requested he keep me updated on the status, as this is my primary work truck. He tagged it with ***** ticket on the key. Later that day, at 4:38pm, I called Jeff to check on the status of the truck. With no answer, I left a voice mail. I called again at 5:55pm and was put through to Jeff’s phone and I left another voicemail. On 7/29/2023, I received a text that the vehicle still had not made it to the Tech and it probably wouldn’t until Monday. I let Jeff know the RAM is my primary vehicle and being down a vehicle and having to use my wife’s Dodge Durango for this long was unacceptable. Obviously, there was no contact on 7/30/2023 since the service department was closed. On 7/31/2023, I called several times and left voicemails with no response. On 8/1/2023, since I was not reaching anyone by calling, I sent a text at 9:55am asking for an update. At 10:50am, I received a text reply that it still had not made it to the Tech, but that I would be provided an answer that day. I immediately called and asked to speak to the General Manager and was placed on hold. After 20 minutes, I heard an automated message and was hung up on. After being unable to reach the General Manager and no update on the status of my truck, I texted Jeff at 11:07am that I would be coming to get it. Jeff responded I could come any time before 6:45pm. I arrived at Jerry Ulm Dodge at 5:30pm and was informed they would bring the truck out. After my wife and I waited for over 30 minutes, my truck was finally brought to me with the statement that they couldn’t find it. After a brief discussion that it was lost because the Tech had just started to look at it, I left. I must wonder if the main problem with Jerry Ulm Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is with scheduling appointments and taking vehicles that they are not going to even look at it for several days or was it that my vehicle has Mopar Vehicle Protection with lifetime warranty, making it not important. Neither is acceptable. I have owned many Dodge vehicles, including the two newer ones my wife and I currently drive, but this is the first time I have ever had to deal with an unfortunate situation like this. And my truck is still broken. More
