Your hourly labor rate is outrageous When our 2010 VW Passat with 63,000 mileage limped into your den of thieves 2/18/17 and came out 5 hours later, the bill for labor was $1095. Parts 3 When our 2010 VW Passat with 63,000 mileage limped into your den of thieves 2/18/17 and came out 5 hours later, the bill for labor was $1095. Parts 315.97. Quite an oil leak! Since November's oil leak our finely engineered German car has cost $3819 to keep on the road. Just think what lousy shape this car would be in had we not exclusively used Jennings VW expert care to keep this pile of junk running. My only regret is that VW apparently did not cheat on pollution standards with this car so we could get our money back. More
Very bad experience with the car and the service I normally don't write reviews, but I had so many bad experiences with this place that I decided it is worth my time. A month later the car stopped all of a sudden in the middle of the road without any prior warning of anything wrong. They took it to the repairs shop and presumably looked at it for days, but could not tell us what happened, except an issue with the electronics must have done this. A couple of years later the same thing happened, and again they could not tell us what is going on. Of course anytime we called to talk to the manager to understand what is happening and why, we were told he will call back but never did. We literally had to chase him down. And finally, this month, our car had a bad flat tire. A tow track from a service they recommended to us took our car to their car repairs shop. We ended up replacing all 4 tires and doing a regular car maintenance there, all of which cost ~$1300, only to get the car back with FOUR DAMAGED RIMS!!!!! I was shocked to see the deep scratches on the Rims as we went to pickup the car! it was Saturday and the service manager was not around....Someone with the name Majour Pope called on Monday, only to tell us that there is no way the damage could have happened in their shop, that the tow track company they recommended to us is reputable and that the scratches look deep enough and dark enough that they must have been there for a while....UNBELEIVABLE!!!! We will NEVER go back there again, they are totally unreliable and unprofessional !!!! They've had our business for 5 years and they have successfully lost it now! More
Beware buying ANY USED VW 1997-2005 I bought a used 04 Passat from Jennings less than a year ago. Water collects under the passenger seat and threatens to short out a computer module there. Take into to service where they discover the sunroof drain tube is loose and leaks into the car. So I authorize it to get fixed - can't afford the computer shorting. Curious - I look this up on internet and turns out that eight VW/Audi models from 1997-2005 all suffer from this issue - to the point that VW settled a $69 million class action lawsuit over this issue. However - that class action suit has closed, and VW will not issue a recall - so if you buy one of these cars - it will cost you - I paid $700 to have this fixed, others on the internet spent thousands due to computer damage. Jennings sold me this used VW (their profit margin clearly more important than their "reputation [that] rides with" my wet carpeting.) and the service guy explains this by claiming there is no way they could have anticipated "this specific" car would have the problem - BS - Eight models over eight years had this problem. Do not even consider buying one of these affected models from here - unless your willing to part with significant repair costs and smug attitudes down the road. More
Horrible experience I went in for a "3 year service" on my vw and was told okay that'll be 229 dollars. Upon asking what that service included I was met with some hesitat I went in for a "3 year service" on my vw and was told okay that'll be 229 dollars. Upon asking what that service included I was met with some hesitation by the service clerk, who proceeded to hand me a printed out piece of paper which states that it basically includes an oil change and a break flush. After I told them I didn't want a break flush, as I just had it done in the previous weeks, the manager came up and said " oh you wanna be cheap, okay let's do it for 170". Just like that cut 60 bucks off for the same service. When I still said no they ended up charging me 60 bucks for an oil change. I drove over an hour to come to this dealership just because the previous owner had all the work done on the car there and wanted to keep it consistent. It's not the price , it's the principal, I had a similar experience when I went there last year for just an oil change, when I was told three different prices by three different people. When I questioned the manager about this, he mentioned to me "oh we were going to give you a surprise coupon, which would explain the price differences you were told". Surprise coupon?! I don't know why I went back, I guess I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were having a bad day that day. Overall horrible experience and I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. More

I cannot fully put into words how wonderful each encounter is, I actually look forward to coming in. There is a wonderful atmosphere here everyone works together well and is fully focused on you the customer. I never want to go anywhere else and have felt this way from the first time I set foot in the doors. No matter the reason for coming in I always leave happy. It is so hard to find this kind of service in any industry let alone the car industry and as a single women feeling comfortable there on my own is a bit deal. I recommend Jennings to everyone and every one I have sent there leaves just as happy and thrilled as I am. Jennings service and customer care is unparalleled in the industry. They get it right every time and I am a customer for life. More
SImply the BEST I bought my 2009 VW bug from Jennings VW and the experience was OUTSTANDING (<3 Fuad!) Sadly, the dealership is an hour away from my home. When I needed my headlights serviced, I went to a closer dealership (Pugi VW) where I was horribly treated. After a terrible experience at Pugi, I drove all the way out to Jennings to get my car fixed. Not only did Jennings treat me with respect, courtesy and professionalism, they were empathetic over my recent ordeal at Pugi. It is worth the hour long drive to get outstanding service. I will buy my next car from these fine folks! PS: They have the largest parts supply in the midwest! No waiting for parts to arrive-- just love these folks! More

I cannot begin to express how amazing this experience was! What started as another monotonous experience at the dealership turned into a new begining for me! I was referred to David when I curiously inquired about trading my beloved Jetta. David was honest, educational, and understanding. He took time to teach me about my options and not try and push me toward a decision! Mike was brought in to talk finances - a scary subject in itself- which turned out to be more helpful than frightening. Mike was genuine, efficient, and worked hard to work a lease that I could afford! My parents loved the experience as well, and love even more that they don't have to worry about me when I drive, because we were taken care of so well. It was such a blessing to meet these gentlemen and it couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I could write on and on but you really just have to go in and experience it yourself. More
