I spoke with Chris Hallenberg from Jennings about a new Traverse. He had snacks for the family when we arrived. Chris had a model ready to test drive. We discussed options and he had a vehicle available Traverse. He had snacks for the family when we arrived. Chris had a model ready to test drive. We discussed options and he had a vehicle available in his inventory with everything that we wanted. Chris offered a good price for my trade-in. He went over every aspect of the vehicle. This is our third vehicle through Jennings and Chris Hallenberg has always made the car buying process very smooth. He is a professional and true asset to Jennings. Highly recommended. More

Just bought i nice used '02 VW Jetta with 46k miles on it -fairly priced for the age and miles. Problem #1 I was prepared to buy the car and they listed the price for it $1000 over the advertized price -fairly priced for the age and miles. Problem #1 I was prepared to buy the car and they listed the price for it $1000 over the advertized price! OUCH. When I protested the salesman looked up the add and the price I claimed -to his credit, he apologized and made the correction. I was put off by this though - I mean what if people don't have the 'nerve' I had and got ripped off. Mistake or not -it just wrong. problem #2 After driving it and taking it to my own mechanic to look it over -he recommended the tie rods and control arm be replaced. Now it's likely these parts were NOT in an imminent state of immediate failure as I heard no noises felt little vibration and experience no play in the wheel but I like to be better safe than sorry. I came back to the dealer armed with a printout of the recommendation. I was told this can be "taken care of" and upon my request I could see a copy of the work done on the car. I then paid in full for the car -not realizing the mistake I made. I was called back by a Gruff Used car sales manager who proceeded to state his years of experience and how he looked at the car on the lift and how he "stands by his men" WHAT ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER? In my eyes This was a precursor to my agreement to buy the car to have this work done so I would NOT have to deal with it later for the money I am paying. I know for a Fact that what they are selling this car for is about 3-4k higher than they bought it for or what they assessed it for. So in my mind I am entitled to my request being honored! I realized I screwed up by buying the car first and taking a verbal agreement to have this work done -only to have them refuse to do it later. I sure hope the worn parts hold out. Meanwhile I intend on airing my complaint everywhere. More
If you are in the market for a Chevrolet, this is the dealership to go to. High service, low pressure, and great price. Steve Tinkler is a great guy to work with. He works hard to find a vehicle for y dealership to go to. High service, low pressure, and great price. Steve Tinkler is a great guy to work with. He works hard to find a vehicle for you and will trade with another dealer if he doesn't have what you want in inventory. He will quote you an attractive total price and will not play games. Any add-on products are "offered" but not "pushed" - definitely soft sell. Steve is almost too honest to be a car salesman. More
