Jenkins Subaru Provided one of the best and easiest Auto Purchases I have ever made in my 50 years of Automobile Purchases. From the Service Advisor to the Salesman and Financial Closer, Everybody at Jenki Purchases I have ever made in my 50 years of Automobile Purchases. From the Service Advisor to the Salesman and Financial Closer, Everybody at Jenkins Subaru / Hyundai, Bridgeport, West Virginia, were absolutely a pleasure to work with. My purchase experience was very quick and painless, and believe it or not totally ENJOYABLE! I have had some experience's over the years that were absolutely miserable; not at Jenkins! All the staff at Jenkins were absolutely Wonderful, even the young lady Tidying up the Automotive Showroom offered and served me a bottle of water as I waited to final the deal. I will highly recommend Jenkins, and again purchase from them in the Future! More
BLUF: low quality product, lying, low quality service department. But hey, everyone's nice about it, so 2 stars. Gave me a loaner for the last visit. Low quality product: Subarus used to have head ga department. But hey, everyone's nice about it, so 2 stars. Gave me a loaner for the last visit. Low quality product: Subarus used to have head gasket problems, now they have cam tower oil leak problems. Car 4 months old and less than 3,000 miles in to have engine pulled. Other customers had the same problem when I was in the waiting room. To maximize profit, dealer put the greenest tech on the warranty job without any experienced supervision; this is a major MANAGEMENT problem. Get car back, hear some clanks, pops and bangs in the drive line on the way home; engine over heats just as I'm getting home. Didn't bother fully filling the radiator or overflow tank. Repair (1), invoice given:Take back to dealer, "fix the radiator" by disassembling front of car and re-attach it. I don't even make it 1/2 mile and it's making driveline pops/clanks/scrapes Repair (2): NO invoice given: Fix the engine mounts, test drive, seems fine; but I get about a mile from home and it feels like someone is taking a sledge hammer to the engine. Coolant low again. Repair (3): NO invoice given: Return, they put the WRONG bolts attaching the engine to the torque converter. Take a test drive, seems fine. Inquired again about coolant check, "guaranteed to be fixed". Got home, it was low again. Service also lied about services performed. Engine ships with a 15208AA22A filter from the Japan factory. This "22A" filter is not available in the US market, only the JDM. Dealer stated 15208AA21A filter was installed as part of an oil change, but a 22A filter is still on the car; with same factory paint mark on it that I took a picture of before service. Suggestions: As to not waste people's time and KEEP customers, on big jobs maybe have a mentor/mentee relationship with experienced service techs so the job is done right. This is a MANAGEMENT problem, not a technician problem; don't take it out on them. When you state you do work, do it. Replacing an oil filter is the EASIEST thing to do service wise on these cars, yet it wasn't done, but you billed Subaru for it. Also learn to fill coolant. Give customers invoices for all services performed. I know what you're up to and made my own notes because you're trying to avoid something that rhymes with "yemen saw". I received 2/5. Even asked and was told "no invoice" when leaving without one being given. Of note: the express service advisers keep a dirty cabin air filter at their desk, then present it to customers as "their dirty cabin filter" and charge $55 for a $22 part that takes less than a minute to install. If you're going to pull this nonsense, at least hide the darn mock cabin filter from plain sight when you get out of your car to drop it off for service. Needless to say, this is my first and last Subaru; thanks to both the dealer and the manufacturer. I wish you all the best of luck, I'll never give you another penny. More
April was such a great sales person. Very informative and friendly. Aaron in finance was helpful and took the time to explain things from a finance perspective. Very informative and friendly. Aaron in finance was helpful and took the time to explain things from a finance perspective. More

2024 Crosstrek with obvious factory issue that the service dept. is refusing to fix. 15,000 miles on a brand new car; both front tires have worn down to the radial belt on the inside of the tires, nea service dept. is refusing to fix. 15,000 miles on a brand new car; both front tires have worn down to the radial belt on the inside of the tires, near the rims. According to their service manager, Subaru won't reimburse them for alignments because WV roads are bad. The excuse to not replace the tires, "They're soft tires so they wear out faster." The Subaru dealership in Lexington, KY said they'd be glad to do an alignment because the car is still under warranty. Unfortunately my son, who made the mistake of purchasing the vehicle here is over 5 hours away. Sales are based on service, not one and out the door philosophy. My family has purchased a total of 12 Subarus over the years. We are a Subaru family, but this has raised enough alarms and distrust that we're all now talking about Honda because of their commitment to service. More
