I am very disappointed in Jenkins Nissan. I saw only 1 service representative wearing a mask, all of whom were in direct contact with customers. It appears to be a choice, which is irresponsible. I understand if a service technician doesn’t wear one while working on a vehicle by themselves, however all employees were interacting with each other and customers without any regard to precautions. There was absolutely zero social distancing inside. There is plenty of seating, would it be difficult to place a sign on every other seat saying not to sit there? The 2 girls at checkout put their masks on when I approached because they saw I was wearing mine. Besides from doing the right thing for your employees and customers, it’s actually the law. I could tell I was not the only uncomfortable customer inside. My car was not sanitized, not even a paper mat. Thankfully I was warned before coming, so I brought my own wipes to wipe down my car, since you can’t provide the 30 sec service to do so. Besides the COVID precautions being completely ignored, the level of service has decreased over my time of being a loyal customer, in which myself and family have purchased several vehicles over the years. However, you have no problem approaching my father in law saying you are interested in purchasing his vehicle because he takes good care of it. When he was in for service 2 days before me his experience and disappoint level was the same as mine. So I can tell you my experience was not an isolated situation. Your company is upsetting a variety of demographics. In a time when businesses are forced to be creative and step up to the plate, yours is failing miserably. What reason do I have to continue giving you my business? More
