I gave two stars because it seems the issue it came in for was fixed and they did cover it under warranty and they did give me a loaner. The diagnosis for the issue was honestly a shocker for me because the noises that came from this car when it made noises was something I had not heard before and even puzzled the technician. The only good thing i experienced from this entire encounter was the technician. Both of the people in service I had to deal with were not great. One was worse than the other though. The communication from this dealer was awful. They had my car for a month and I prefer to be the chill guy not crawling down their throats but they didn’t call me other than to swap loaners. The one time I called them to ask about the car after it being there so long they told me the tech wasn’t there and they would call back but they never did. The hoops I had to jump through to get my loaner and then return it a week later for another loaner were very inconvenient and frustrating. They didn’t have one when I dropped the car off, getting home was a huge struggle and getting to work and back the next day. They almost tried to tell me they didn’t have the loaner the next day when they told me it’s be ready. They were not happy how late I showed up when I came all the way from Tampa after my workday to pick this up and kept telling me hopefully it’s ready by 7pm because they got a game to go watch. Maybe a joke but was said a handful of times which doesn’t seem like such a joke anymore. Then after having that car for a week they call me to drop one loaner off for another. Every time I went here I had to leave work early and when they called and told me I had to actually miss a company get together to give them this loaner back. I had filled the tank a day prior to them calling me. They said the next loaner would be ready when I got there. When I got there they told me they were fueling it and getting it ready and about 10 minutes later a family pulled up in the car they ended up giving me with 40 miles left in the tank. I asked about being refueled (ignoring they lied about it getting refueled and cleaned) the cleaning was whatever (though should be standard ever since this Covid stuff) they told me they didn’t have the fuel card. I told them I just filled the tank on the loaner. They told me I didn’t have to fill the tank, I told them I didn’t do it because I was bringing it back I did it because I needed fuel and they hadn’t called me about being this back. They kinda said aww well and told me I can come back tomorrow for fuel which would have been really inconvenient for some fuel it also didn’t have the miles to even go there and back for a day. I ended up having to borrow money to fill the tank. They told me they owed me a tank but the attitude about it was so bad that I just let it go because I didn’t feel like arguing. (They also gave me my car back with a nearly empty tank, again didn’t feel like arguing about it) How the employees ( besides the technician that helped me) spoke to people was unprofessional. Their reluctance to originally take my car in under warranty was frustrating and the demeanor they had about it as if I was lying or was dumb was frustrating. To deal with, I had a valid problem and just wanted it fixed. I refused to do anything other than regular maintenance because I don’t want to void my warranty. (Like they were originally trying to accuse me of) Maybe this company is not a company that needs to worry about providing fleets to people. Though I know, coming from the business that people will purchase a product from a dealer or manufacturer based on the service they provide. It makes the service department a very important part of the company even though typically the service department is not we’re a company finds profit. That all starts from the door. Ya know? Good service, loyal customers. Service needs to work on themselves. More
