Great Sale Horrible Service Department We purchased a 2015 Kia Soul with 19,000 miles. We also purchased an extended warranty for $2,000. The sales experience was typical car dealership. No We purchased a 2015 Kia Soul with 19,000 miles. We also purchased an extended warranty for $2,000. The sales experience was typical car dealership. No negotiating and zero for our trade-in. The salesman was friendly and informative. The salesman went out of his way to make our experience a good one. He even made several follow up calls to us. The finance guy was nice and informative. He even had an extra key made for us because we were given a second key but it was for some other car. It took hours to complete the sale. We drove the car home and realized there was a rattle in the dash on the passenger side. We made an appointment for the service department to get it fixed. They gave the car back stating that the blower motor for the A/C was loose and they tightened it. We took their word for it. As we drove off the lot and down the street we realized that the same exact rattle in the same exact place on the dash on the passenger side was still there. I called Kia to let them know and they made another appointment for the service department to check out the rattle again. We took the car back in and after about 30 minutes the service guy came out and said they could not hear a rattle. I told him I wanted someone to ride with me in the car. So, he got in the car and drove down the road. When I heard the rattle the guy kept saying he didn't hear it. So I drove over bumps and the rattle was clearly there in the dash on the passenger side. The service guy said he only heard a rattle in the back of the car. I told him to hold down on the dash where he was sitting and the rattle would stop. He refused to do do that. So we got back to the shop and I asked to have a supervisor drive with me. Another guy got in the car and we drove down the road. He heard the rattle in the dash on the passenger side of the car. He said that they really did not want to tear the dash out and did I really want them to be tearing out the dash? I said I want the rattle fixed and I want it fixed correctly. He suggested that I drive the car for a few more weeks and the rattle would either get worse or go away. The same rattle that I took the cat into service for the first time is still there. At this point I really don't want to waste my time going back to service forth to give me the run around because they either don't know how to fix it or they they just plane and simply do not want to. However, I will now have a sour taste in my mouth for KIA and will not be back to buy a car from Ocala KIA and I would never recommend a dealership that does not want to fix a simple rattle or honor a warranty. I just hope a simple rattle in a dash was worth losing a customer and possible referrals. More
a square deal I thought I was perhaps too far underwater to trade up for a new Kia Sedona, but Sales Managers Cori & Daniel, as well as F&I guy Gary (on loan from J I thought I was perhaps too far underwater to trade up for a new Kia Sedona, but Sales Managers Cori & Daniel, as well as F&I guy Gary (on loan from Jenkins Hyundai) made it happen - and on the terms I'd originally laid out at the start of my visit. There was no pressure or guilt trip, just a sincere desire to try to accommodate my requirements for the monthly payment that I was willing to commit. Salesman Josue was also an active - and consistently positive - factor in the equation. Well done. More
