Had a problem with my '13 Kia Optima, they towed it from my house for free, diagnosed the problem very quickly (alternator issue), had it fixed the day itself when the part came in. Very good communica from my house for free, diagnosed the problem very quickly (alternator issue), had it fixed the day itself when the part came in. Very good communication between them and myself, called me almost every 3 hours to give me updates on my vehicle. Even provided me with a free rental vehicle. Definitely one of the best dealers around. A+++ in customer service. More

The drivers’ insurance comp Citrus Kia Has a Heart and Soul! I am a Senior Citizen. In December of 2012, my car was backed into in a parking lot. The drivers’ insurance company fixed the car by sending me to a Auto Body Shop in Citrus County. They did a good job, but the paint job they provided was not my color. I complained to the shop and the owner of the shop said it was a good match and he could not do any better. Not knowing what to do, I took my car to Citrus Kia because I felt like they are my family, because I just wanted their opinion about the color. The General Manager, a very nice young man, Paul Arduser, and the Auto Mechanic said I was right; it was a different color than the rest of the body of my Citrus Kia Soul. I called the Insurance Adjuster out to check out what Citrus Kia told me about my car. The Adjuster said it was an okay job and could not do anything else for me. I was very upset because my car in the back had a green tint to it and not the sparkling metallic color that the rest of my car has. I called Citrus Kia and Paul. He was out and he called me back. He said, “Don’t worry about it, we will paint your car, just bring your car in with no charge.” They did a fantastic job, my car is back like it was, and not only did they not charge me, they gave me a car for two days to use! I am 77 senior citizen who limited income. I am very grateful what Citrus Kia did for me! I thought everyone should know about what wonderful people they are and how they did treat me like family. I would like to thank Paul Arduser for all his help, in making my Soul Perfect! Paul is a very nice young man, who is a professional and has a big heart! I love my Citrus Kia Soul! Thank you! We took our Kia in because the Battery was dead. Mark said they would check out the Battery and Electrical system. He was going to call me and let me know what the pro- blem was. He called and said it w said they would check out the Battery and Electrical system. He was going to call me and let me know what the pro- blem was. He called and said it was my Battery that was bad,and it would cost $148. dollars for a new one. I told Mark that I would pickup our car and buy a new Battery myself. He said that there would be a $48. dollar charge, which I said was fine. When I went to install a new Battery I purchased, I found that the screws that hold down the shroud over the battery had been barely started and not tighten. The cable to the Positive Post was left loose, so if they did'nt remove the battery cables it is possible that my old battery was good. It just had'nt been charging. Signed "Never Again" More
This dealer is the typical greedy establishment that values pennies over customer service and sales. My older Kia was giving us some trouble when we decided to take it in for service. We were conside values pennies over customer service and sales. My older Kia was giving us some trouble when we decided to take it in for service. We were considering even buying a new one rather than pour more money into the older one if it turned out too far gone. The service dept, service manager in particular had handle the service transaction. We DROVE the truck in for service. The next day we were called that the truck need very expensive/major repairs. When we arrived the next day to see what was going on, we found out the service manager had driven our truck and during that drive the fan, fan clutch, and brand new radiator exploded from the fan falling apart. Kia has a recall on those plastic fans, but neither the dealer nor the regional office were willing to honor that recall. The dealer now wanted over 600 dollars to repair the trucks fan and associated parts before they would even diagnosis the real problem we drove it in for. We spoke with the Owner Steve Hintman who was as useless as the rest of his employees only concerned about the extra 600 bucks they now could make off of us. We then had to have our truck towed home inoperable and worst off than we had driven it there under its own power. Then the owner had the nerve to ask if we were interested in buying one of his new Kia's. After that experience I wouldn't throw water on them if they were burning. But these days this is exactly the way America businesses operate, but that doesn't mean we need to put up with it! More
Hello fellow Kia Owners; Just a warning to all seeking Hello fellow Kia Owners; Just a warning to all seeking repairs from Citrus Kia Crystal River Florida. I DROVE my sportage there this week with a Hello fellow Kia Owners; Just a warning to all seeking repairs from Citrus Kia Crystal River Florida. I DROVE my sportage there this week with a rough idle condition. Citrus Kia called me to tell me it needed over $400.00 in repairs to include a new fan, fan clutch, Alternator belt, and fan hub assembly before they said they could further diagnosis my rough idle condition. I went to the dealership the next only to find that the dealership drove the truck and exploded the fan during the test drive, which in turn caused all the other damage. They then expected me to pay for the damage the mechanic caused and then said the rough idle condition was fixed. The service manager claimed when they took the truck on its test drive the truck ran fine and they had done a compression check and all was OK. I had to tow the truck home at my expectnse considering it had driven in on its own power before and the dealership said it wasnt their problem. A warning to all Kia owners, avoid CITRUS KIA at all costs!!!!!!!! More
