I was blatantly lied to during my diagnostic. I was told my spark plugs were bad even though they weren’t and less than two days old when I brought my car in. I was also told that my timing belt I was told my spark plugs were bad even though they weren’t and less than two days old when I brought my car in. I was also told that my timing belt was missing a tooth and it caused the engine to be out of timing. I took apart my car to replace the timing belt and it’s not missing a tooth at all. I’m beyond furious and the word “scammy” doesn’t come close to describing my experience with this dealership. The lack of integrity will ensure I never do business here again and will be sure to report to proper channels within BBB. This is unacceptable. More
Service center has always been very informative and helpful. Waiting room is very comfortable except for terrible TV viewing of the same videos. First of all the service rep called me a day after bringing my Sorento in 6/10/24 around 1:00 PM and told me they did a few software updates but found no problems but would keep it one more day to tes bringing my Sorento in 6/10/24 around 1:00 PM and told me they did a few software updates but found no problems but would keep it one more day to test to see if our specific issues would recur and would call us Wednesday 6/12/24. They never called on Wednesday so we assumed they found something. The next day, Thursday 6/13/24 I called them at 10:30 AM and called at least eight times until about 1:00 PM and not once could I reach a person in the service dept. I left a couple messages yet no one ever called me. We decided to go to Jenkins Kia to find out any status since no one called us. We arrived at the service dept around 1:30 PM and stood at front entrance just a few feet from the two working service employees yet nobody acknowledged our presence for a good 10 minutes ubtil a lady arrive and asked us what we needed! Originally my wife didn't want to come to Jenkins Kia because she had read many bad reviews but I encouraged her that most reviewers write only when they have and above/beyond service or a really bad experience. Well guess what? Ours was pretty pathetic! More
