We brought the car in because the radio was not functioning correctly. The screen indicated the appropriate channel and volume indicator was displayed and changed with turning of the knob. After about 30 minutes Ryan, the service staff, approached me and shared that the technician said the radio was in need of replacement and was typical for Kia radios. He quoted the replacement cost at almost $1,000. He offered to speak with the manager the next day but never contacted me. I checked with a local company for an estimate and in 10 minutes diagnosed the system and advised me the problems were the speakers.
