This was the worst car shopping experience we ever had. We were told we had to take the car for a test drive before they could tell us the price. Not to worry it would be in the price range we had told them. The car was beautiful and then we were told the price, it was $5000.00 over our price range. Then The salesman said that because they were having a sale, we should talk to the manager and he was sure the price could come more in line with what we wanted to spend. Jokingly the salesman said he was taking our keys because we would be driving the Optima home. We then were given numerous price reductions that we refused. We asked for our keys and at last had to demand that they be returned to us. We sent another salesperson in to get them, but the manager ignored her. We had been there for three hours. When the manager came out in 5 minutes he said if we would purchase the car that night, we could have it for the price we had told them we could afford. We said "No Thank You" and I suggest you do too. We were sure to tell all our neighbors about how we were treated, and it turns out one of them had the same experience. Spend the money it cost for gas and go to another dealer. We did and were so surprised. Believe it or not...The prices are on the window...And that IS the price. More
This dealership is not like all the rest. They value your time and don't make you wait while they "go talk to the manager". I was brought to the service department and introduced to the personnel there and was very impressed with the dealership cleanliness and comfort. Exceptional!! I could have purchased my new Kia Soul at any number of dealers within a reasonable driving distance of my Ocala home - BUT my applause goes to John Keegan who was able to establish a bond of any number of dealers within a reasonable driving distance of my Ocala home - BUT my applause goes to John Keegan who was able to establish a bond of trust within minutes of our first call. And then he delivered: both the best price and buying experience, beyond what I had anticipated. The personal attention I received made me feel like the most special customer he's ever had the privilege of serving. No small feat, I know, having spent most of my adult life in various customer service positions myself. I can't brag up or say enough good things about John and the rest of the Citrus Kia staff. I was so impressed that I immediately began telling all my friends about Citrus Kia and John in particular. Within a week of my purchase my friends went to see John and, once again, due to his personal service and drive to please they also drove home with a new Kia Sportage. Exactly the car they had wanted! How good is that....being able to recommend a sales person to your friends and never doubt once that that their buying experience might not measure up to yours! John goes out of his way to be sure his customers are happy....he cares and makes sure it's totally about the buyer. How very refreshing! I also had occasion to deal with both Petes (sorry, I don't know their last names) in Citrus Kia's parts department. What nice gentlemen.....once again bending over backwards to meet my needs in a manner that made me feel that my simple requests were their only concern and their top priority. Citrus Kia and their staff were professionals, kind hearted and sincere. Yes, I am talking about a Car Dealership this is not normal but it is for Citrus Kia. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised hearted and sincere. Yes, I am talking about a Car Dealership this is not normal but it is for Citrus Kia. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised with their different mindset and sales approach. I felt I was dealing with family not a bunch of stranger. I never thought I would own a Kia and now all I do is talk about my Kia Optima. This dealership surprised me with their kindness and professionalism. I am proud to recommend them to my family and friends. Let me explain, we arrive at Citrus Kia, we met Al and we said we are looking. Ok no pressure, not pushy and he said “let me know if you have any questions” and walks away. Letting us look around by ourselves. Now that was a big surprise for us. Ok it gets better, now we want to go for the test drive, we are getting ourselves ready for the Salesman grilling and questions. That did not happened, we really enjoyed the ride and talking with Al like an old lost friend. Yes we forgot he was the Salesman. Now we are very impressed with the workmanship of this car and comparing the Optima to the other cars we have seen all day long, I can honestly say the Optima is at the top of our list. We make the decision put numbers on paper and gave them to Al. Ok we are still preparing ourselves for the long night ahead of us shortly after we meet with Mike, Tony and Al to finalize the deal. We did all this in an hour. This is so right in so many levels; I don’t know where to begin. Look no further, Citrus Kia is the place to go when you are looking for a great vehicle with no pressure, they are nice people and are not pushy. This is really not the norm but how it should be. NO PRESSURE AND WORKING WITH FRIENDS. Citrus Kia had been recommended to us by a few of our neighbors who had had a good experience there. We were ready to trade our Sedona and went to Citus. It was the best thing we could have done. There was no pressure. They listened to us and paid attention to what we wanted. Our saleperson was great.. I have not had this nice an experience buying a car ever. Dealing with Citrus Kia was indeed a pleasure. The whole event, from me arriving, meet the salesman was a pleasure. I have dealt with many dealerships in my lifetime, but the way Citrus kia treats you is re event, from me arriving, meet the salesman was a pleasure. I have dealt with many dealerships in my lifetime, but the way Citrus kia treats you is really remarkable. They never put pressure on me to buy, all they wanted to do was assist me, answer any questions I had. I drove a 2012 Optima, EX/turbo which i ended up buying. The whole experience was truly remarkable. Everyone, I mean everyone that i met and dealt with was extremely courteous, its seems that they could not do enough for you, and again, NO pressure to buy, that was entirely my choice. I have told all my friends, if they are looking to buy, they have to go to Citrus Kia, they will be very impressed with their attitude as I was was. I am surprised that anyone in the the west coast of Florida looking to buy a Kia does not go their, if they were to experience the way you are treated, along with their great prices, they would definetely buy from them. To say the least, I am extremely happy with the whole procedure, from me 1st going to Citrus Kia to finally driving away in my new 2012 Kia Optima EX with the turbo. I have only had the vehicle, but eveytime I drive it, I am extremely impressed. More
Crystal River Kia advertises that they don't just sell cars they make you part of the family. They do! This is our 3 car from them, we will not take our cars anywhere else for service. The girls in the sevice department make you feel good when you come in for service, Paul goes out of his way to help as they all do, but you get to know them on a personal level. John Keegan, our sales rep bends over backwards to find you the best deals, just don't have fried chicken around him kind of drives him crazy, love you John, just had to get that dig in. These people make you feel comfortable when you come in and not pressured. This is another quality that sets all of the people at Crystal River Kia head and shoulder ABOVE any other car dealer we have delt with. Thank you all for a pleasant experience.
