I was looking for a lease and was originally interested in the 2013 Elantra and had looked at another dealership. I was not satisfied with their offer and felt they were giving me a runaround. I had been i in the 2013 Elantra and had looked at another dealership. I was not satisfied with their offer and felt they were giving me a runaround. I had been in contact with Carolyn Davis since 2010 and we just happened to connect on the internet just after my last experience. She was able to put me in a larger car, 2013 Sonata at a very fair price and went out of her way when my car needed minor repair after being dinged in a parking lot. Thanks Carolyn More
This is the second time I have purchased a car from Carolyn Davis at Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala. Both times I gave their other dealership in Leesburg a chance and both times they did not do what it take Carolyn Davis at Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala. I highly recommend you contact Carolyn Davis at Jenkins Hyundai if you are looking for a new car. She actually remembers you after the sale and treats you like family. More

I always price shop several models and dealers before deciding what to buy and where to buy it. It's the only way to make an informed buying decision. I was checking out the Hyundai Elantra at Jenkins. deciding what to buy and where to buy it. It's the only way to make an informed buying decision. I was checking out the Hyundai Elantra at Jenkins. The first thing I noticed was an additional sticker next to the manufacturer's sticker indicating the car had the "Jenkins Value Package" on it. That was $4,000 worth of dubious stuff like fabric protector and paint sealant. I took a nice test drive with Brian, a very polite and professional sales associate. Upon returning, he predictably tried to do his job--sell me the car right then and there. He was never unpleasant or excessively pushy, but produced numbers that started off six thousand dollars higher than the quote I received from the Hyundai dealer in St. Augustine on the same car. Plus, they valued my trade at $1500 less than St. Augustine. When I stood my ground and insisted that I was shopping today, not buying, a sales manager took over. He ramped up the pressure to an uncomfortable level. When I didn't cave, he told me to my face that my way of shopping for a car is "not smart". I've been buying cars for forty years and I've never seen insulting a customer's intelligence used as a sales tactic before. Needless to say, I'm not about to buy a car from someone who tells me to my face that I'm stupid. Bottom line is that if you enjoy being abused and overcharged, you'll love Jenkins Hyundai. Otherwise, look somewhere else. More
I just recently purchased a used car. The salesman schedule 2 appointments with me one he was not there when I came in and the 2nd time they had to call him in after driving 30 minutes and waiting for schedule 2 appointments with me one he was not there when I came in and the 2nd time they had to call him in after driving 30 minutes and waiting for him for 45 minutes. He stated the car was 18,000.00, I found it online for 15,000.00. Note I was told the trade in value of my truck would be 5,500.00, at the end it was 4,500.00 of the deal. Also, he texted me over 30 times saying he would cancel the deal immediately if I decided not to buy the car & I would have to start over. When I went to pick up my car after great stress, they promised to replace the tires (down to the wear bar) and inspect the vehicle. I told them the brack light was intermittently coming on. The saleman stated the tires were fine, I said I would call my husband to inform him that the tire had not been changed as promised. He said "do not call your husband" I will talk to my salesmanger. At that time, after speaking to my husband he stated he would handle it. The salemand after waiting for 30 minutes said the car was ready walking outside in the rain, "Oh I forgot to get gas." Leaving me by the service department waiting one of their employees drive past me drenching me in water. After 45 minutes he came back after I left I was very upset to the point of crying and a wreck feeling used and to some aspect abused. This one of the worst experience in my life being treated like I was stupid and not worthy. I hope you will heed my advise and look else where. More
I asked about a used vehicle and made an appointment to test drive. I drove 2 hours from Jacksonville and test drove the car. They then told me the vehicle was just sold. They then tried to sell me a veh test drive. I drove 2 hours from Jacksonville and test drove the car. They then told me the vehicle was just sold. They then tried to sell me a vehicle that was $7k more then what the other car was. They also tried to pressure me into spending more then I could afford. They didn't care less about my finances, they just wanted a sale. Bad dealership. More
We went in for an oil change on our third Sonata, a 2011 model. While there we looked at a 2012 Sonata Limited and ended up with an offer we could not refuse. We have had experience with Jenkins Hyundai model. While there we looked at a 2012 Sonata Limited and ended up with an offer we could not refuse. We have had experience with Jenkins Hyundai since our first Hyundai (a 2006 Sonata) and could not be happier with the service. The service representative, Aaron, has always been exceptional. He has always explained what was to be done and, when the unexpected occured, he answered all of our questions as to why the extra expense (or work) was required. The sales staff at Jenkins Hyundai is exceptional also. Always acting in a low pressure manner but always having the answer to your questions about the vehicles and the advantage of upgrading to a newer or better product. We have always been happy with their evaluation of our trade-in vehicle. We have been happy with our experiences with our Hyundai Sonatas and have the highest regard for the Hyundai company and Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala. Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala, Florida should be held as a model for all automobile dealers to emulate. Their service and sales staffs are unbeatable! More

Also a four wheel al She was told the cabin filter needed to be changed and the throttle body and fuel injection system required cleaning and tuning. Also a four wheel alignment was required for a discount rate of $290.00. I spoke with the service tech, Keith Andrews and he was quite sarcastic with me over the phone. He tried to charge her $79.00 for tire rotation and balance on top of the $290.00. I said Sam's club will do it cheaper. He told my mother Sam's does not offer the service and that he unlike her son has her safety in mind. He also wrote on her paperwork....owners son prevented service department from completeing required work for safety. I plan on speaking with the service manager, but I am sure he will take his employeee's word and brush me off. Avoid this dealership. More
