I was told if I didn't like the price, I should have bought a less expensive vehicle, another mgr told me I shouldn't have signed anything, all dealers have hidden costs. All I wanted was a clear explanation. Sent same review to corporate - nothing, no calls. Have purchased two vehicles from Jenkins, I won't make that mistake again. More

What makes Jenkins different is the professionalism of their staff and the assurance that service or repairs will be done right the first time. Pete Palys, my service writer, is knowledgeable, informative, and never appears as being unconcerned or pushy when I bring my vehicle for service. Ron Thompson, the technician whom I request to perform the service or repairs on my vehicle treats my vehicle as if it his own. Even though these two employees of Jenkins Hyundai are the ones who I have the most interface with for the past four years, I suspect that my experience with them is the culture of this dealerships service department. More

Scheduled Oil Change I was in and out in less than an hour. Your staff is always so friendly. My only complaint at all is the "free" car wash you provide from Soapy's. I have taken advantage of this 3 times now and each time, my car was dirtier when I left there than when I drove in. I liked it much better when your service department washed my car, you did a much better job. The only reason I bring this up is if you are paying Soapy's for this service, you shouldn't be. Just wanted to let you know. Jenkin's Hyundai is fabulous, Soapy's, not so much! More

He was helpful, knowledgable, patient and I felt like he really listened to what I needed. There was no "haggling" as I've experienced in the past with car dealerships--he simply listened and was able to put me in a vehicle that I both loved and will be able to comfortably afford! Shannon was a huge help as well as she had sent me a very detailed email which contained all of the items that I would need. I have a unique situation in that I am the caregiver to my husband who suffered a massive stroke. Therefore, I am limited on the amount of time I can be away from home. I had explained this to Shannon via email and again to David upon arrival and both did everything they could to assist in getting me out the door quickly. This is our third purchase from Jenkins Hyundai and I plan on letting all of my friends and family know about your excellent service. I have a few of Mr. Lavish's business cards as well. Was in the market for a new Elantra. I started looking two weeks ago and went to my local dealer to test drive the Elantra twice before determining on a color and options my girlfriend and I wanted. On Monday I called Carolyn and she took the time to go over with me the car I wanted with the features and options. Once we determined the vehicle I wanted was available we discussed my trade and price of the car. She then took the initiative to take pictures of the vehicle and send them to me. I made an appointment with her for Wednesday to go to the dealer to purchase the car. Little did I know when I arrived at the dealer Carolyn went over the deal with me, had my vehicle waiting for me ready for delivery, most of the paperwork completed, and had actually gone in to meet me on her day off. Any other salesman would of passed me off to a collegue and not show up on their day off. The staff at the dealer were very friendly as well. One lady even offered my girfriend and I hot chocolate. I got the sense that the employees care about the customer no matter who the salesperson is. My visit to the dealer was awesome. I did not spend half the time I expected to stay there in purchasing the vehicle. My experience was memorable and thanks to Carolyn for her professional and superb customer service. More
Talked to Ryan White about a Hyundai listed on the internet. He gave me a great deal and we made arrangements for me to buy the car on Sat. On Fri he called me to say they had damaged the car and i internet. He gave me a great deal and we made arrangements for me to buy the car on Sat. On Fri he called me to say they had damaged the car and it was no longer available. I asked if they couldn't sell it after repaired for a lesser price. He said the dealership could not do that and would sell it at auction. He offered another car that was not a fit for what I wanted. I declined. A few days later I received a call from another employee offering the same car for exactly the same price they had given me before it was damaged! I explained that Ryan White had told me it couldn't be sold by the dealership because of the damage. He had no info about any of this. I then contacted Adolfo Blanco Internet Sales Coordinator who emailed me that he would look into this, "rectify the situation", and get back with me. I heard no response and so I called him and left a voicemail. I have had no further responses. This dealership obviously has serious problems and poor customer service. I ended up buying a beautiful Elantra Limited with navigation system at another dealership. More
I've been buying from this dealer since 2006 because of Carolyn. I live in Jacksonville and have several Hyundai dealers both here in town and on the way to Ocala.
