I went to Jenkins Hyundai to purchase a new car. I looked at the Sonata and said I wanted a GPS system and tinted glass on it. I was told by Barry Bures that he would buy the GPS and pay for the inst looked at the Sonata and said I wanted a GPS system and tinted glass on it. I was told by Barry Bures that he would buy the GPS and pay for the installation through Best Buy (not the Service Dept of Jenkins). I was told by Edwin Morales that they could arrange for the tinting of the windows. And last I was told the yearly interest rate was 1.9%. Smiles all around from the dealership folks. Unfortunately I ended up with an Elantra. The GPS system which I paid to get installed cost $150 more than the check I eventually received for this item; the tinted glass cost $200 which I paid; and the interest rate is 5.4%. No one was smiling when I left Jenkins Hyundai. This company doesn't know the meaning of the words honor, integrity, ethics. I am now stuck with this vehicle and am not happy. More
I have never had a worse experience trying to buy a car in my life! I called ahead of time to make sure the car I wanted was there. I was told that the vehicle was there and to come out and test drive it in my life! I called ahead of time to make sure the car I wanted was there. Me and my elderly mother drove an hour and a half to get there only to find out the vehicle had "just been sold" Then they try to sell me the same vehicle for $4,000 more! Not to mention the salesman had me and my mother waiting in the hot sun for 15 minutes while he looked for a key to the car we were looking at! I will never go back here! More

I purchased a new car from them and was treated ok, but they lied to me. After I purchased the car, they wanted to increase the price! And I'm talking 3 days after everything was approved and the bank had they lied to me. After I purchased the car, they wanted to increase the price! And I'm talking 3 days after everything was approved and the bank had okd the loan. The manager was NO help and after the got my money, it was "so what". I would drive to Tampa to purchase a car before I would go there. Never again. I also went to get service and it took most of the day. They said it would be 30-45 minutes. I kept asking and they would tell me to have some free coffee. My time is worth more than that. I know other customers that has notified Hyundai corp. to tell them about this dealership. I would never deal with them again. Buyer beware! They will be nice and tell you anything you want to hear and then.....you are all on your own! More
I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership. Had I known then what I know now, I would have never done so. I was "sold" on the road hazard for my first purchase by the financial rep. I was told it would cov then what I know now, I would have never done so. I was "sold" on the road hazard for my first purchase by the financial rep. I was told it would cover replacement of tires when it was needed. A few months later I purchased my second car. When my tires on the first car came to the point of needing replacing, I returned to the dealership. I was told that they would not replace the tires as it was not a "tires for life" contract. I took the matter up with the general manager and he told me he would NOT replace the tires, no matter what I was told. I asked to see the financial rep that had sold it to me and was told "he no longer works here". The manager said "What do you expect me to do"? I told him to honor the verbal understanding and he said no. I then asked for a refund of the policy I was sold and was told "No, that is an independant vender, and we can not do that". I read the contract, and it is not what I was lead to believe it was. I am VERY upset with the poor customer service I recieved in this matter. I was not even offered an "I'm sorry" in this matter. I will never do business with Jenkins again. I love my cars, but will find other dealerships to deal with. More
When the 2010 Genesis coupes first started arriving in FL, this dealer had 1 before either of the 2 dealers closest to me. So, I took the hour+ drive on a Saturday to Leesburg for a test drive. I made it VERY clear, that even though I liked the car, I wanted to wait and drive the 4cyl AND that I did NOT want to be called until they had one!. I no sooner walked into my home in when the phone rang...ugh...!!!! It was not the salesman from Jenkins but an independent group from Orlando that this dealership had given my # to in order to call me and ask questions like..."Did you like the car?" "Are you interested in buying the car?" I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to the lady calling that I did not want them to call me ever again! Well, you guessed it, a different lady from this same outfit called again a few days later!!!!! A call to Hyundai who put me on the line with the Sales Manager @ Jenkins was the only way that I got the calls to stop! I dealt with 2 more awful Hyundai dealers in central Florida before I finally did lease my Coupe from Brandon Hyundai...so...FINALLY...a happy ending! More
