Internet price jacked up 36% with "paint protection =1800", plus "we had to fix things in the car=1800". Mind you, on the phone salesman said "We didn't have to fix a thing on this car it was in such =1800", plus "we had to fix things in the car=1800". Mind you, on the phone salesman said "We didn't have to fix a thing on this car it was in such great condition", plus car needed two rear tires, PLUS cracked windscreen. Nothing like wasting two hours to see a 2017 car priced at 19K, reach 36% higher price due to to this made up nonsense. Then salesman had the HEART to then claim that carmax sucks cause they just wash and resell, WHILE selling a car with a dirty interior and a cracked windscreen. Oh, we only show "suggested" prices on the website, we have fine print that says we are adding more things to cost. Every single negative review complains about this bait and switching, and suggest going to Key Hyundai. Also, the service section is just as poorly run. I had a horrible experience there, one poor lady came in for an oil change at 9 am, and was still there ignored at 2pm. Disgraceful operation. More
I got a text from Dennovan on April 15th stating he saw that I was bringing in my Kona the next day for an oil change and asked if I would be interested in trading it in for a new Kona. He said he could keep my payments at or below the current payment I have. I called and we spoke about it. I should also mention I live in Georgia and the dealership was in Florida. I was actually interested in the larger suv, the Tuscon. I knew it would be more a month. I got there Saturday and we went over the numbers. The initial offer was a high monthly payment. They were paying off my car , which I was slightly upside down on by about 3k. I told him I couldn't pay any money down. Before I left they did manage to get me to about $100 more than my current payment . That would have been fine but again they said the bank (the same one I bank with) wanted $3k down, then that amount dropped to $1,500 down and they could give me 30 days to make the down payment. It was still a no go for me. Dennovan and I stayed in contact on it until Wednesday April 20th. It got down to 1k I think and asked about my husband cosigning. That was a no, but husband didn't want any additional large balances put on his credit. I thought that was it. Saturday April 23rd, he texted that they had gotten in another one and it would work with the numbers. Awesome right? That's when things went downhill. I reminded him again that I would be no money down and we had decided under 650 a month WHICH HE KNEW. He said it would work. I asked can you go ahead and run the Financials to make sure Again he said it would work because this model was cheaper than the one he had showed me last time. Great because remember I'm coming from out of state. I get dressed and make the hour drive in. I wait another 40 minutes because he is with a customer even though when I got there he said they just had to finalize with the bank and get my paperwork. Should have been alert number 1. Then as I was waiting he started helping another customer. Alert 2. Also thr model he showed me I did not get excited amount.. alert 3. He finally takes me to his office and says "the problem we are having..." they had still not finalized with the bank the financing. He said they wanted $500 down or my husband to cosign. He said the bank didn't know we couldn't do that....it was our personal bank so they would know why. He asked again about us putting money down. I told him the deal was off the table, I let him know I felt asked to come back under false pretenses because I asked him before I came from GEORGIA TO FLORIDA that it was going to be what we wanted and he said yes. I also reminded him that I asked him to check the Financials before I came to the dealership and he said it would work. He had the nerve to get snippy with me and quickly, tensely told me to ok fine have a good day. I thought he was super nice and awesome at first but today he showed his true attitude and customer service manners. More
Scheduled an appointment for a basic oil change. The technician who signed me in recommended a tire rotation as well. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. During the inspection it was recommended to do a tire alignment as the tires were wearing unevenly. That additional work was done and I was in and out in no time at all. My car is driving noticeably better now and I’m thrilled! I would like to thank the technician who checked me in and also the service technician for a job well done!! More
I got a flat tire and called the dealership to ensure my tire was in stock and schedule a recall and regular maintenance at the same visit. Tony Night the service manager took care of me and even offered to stay later that day to get the tire changed as he knew I was a nurse and going into work the next three days and trying to make this all fit. WinterAA arrived to my house I realized the lug nut lock was missing and I was unable to get the spare on to get me through the next three days at work until I could get to my appointment on Tuesday. Tony Night came out himself after work with the master set from the dealership put the spare on my car so I could go to work the next three days and come to my appointment at the dealership on Tuesday. He assured me I would be out within 2 1/2 hours so I could get my daughter home for her nap and sure enough I was I checked in they had my tire they took care of all of my maintenance the recall and change my tire and I was out in 2 1/2 hours as promised. Mr Night went above and beyond to help this stressed out single-parent and nurse. It means the world. Amazing service. More
