After a very poor experience at a previous dealership we decided to head over to Superior Kia to check out a few of their Certified-used Kia Sedona's. The difference in Superior Kia and the previous dealership was like night and day. Gerald Greene met us at the door and we could immediately tell that whether we made a purchase or not, this was going to be a much better experience. Within a reasonable amount of time we test drove a vehicle, traded in our old one, worked a deal and had our purchase financed. In our particular experience the friendliness of Gerald while making the purchase truly made it enjoyable. We would recommend Gerald and Superior Kia in Cincinnati, Oh to our friends and family alike and most definitely consider them for our future car buying needs! More
I wanted to take a minute to inform everyone of a very unpleasant experience I had at this dealership. Upon speaking with the internet manager Gary Reed on several occasions via phone he verbally quoted m unpleasant experience I had at this dealership. Upon speaking with the internet manager Gary Reed on several occasions via phone he verbally quoted me a price for a 2012 Sportage. He said they were on sale and was fairly insistent that I come in that day. He even marked me down for an appointment. Once I got there we weren't greeted for 20 minutes then when I asked for Gary it was another 10 before he came out. Even when we took a car for a test drive we again spoke of the price he quoted. When we got back from the test drive Gary was no longer available to help us and we were assigned another sales associate. Immediately things began to take a turn and the price we were quoted by Gary during several separate conversations wasn't even an option. Gary's behavior in particular gives a bad name to the auto sales industry. This was certainly the most unpleasant, unprofessional dealership visit I have had. One of two things would be true, either Gary doesn't know his business and is inept and in which case he wouldn't be the internet manager or he is simply a liar who will use a bait and switch tactic to solicit business. My intention was just to test drive the Forte Hatchback, not to buy one just yet. But we met Gerald as soon as we got there and ended up with a new car. Gerald was great.His boss, (John), quoted me 72 month term. When I did the finance paper work, turns out it was a 75 month term. He apologized but it was $1000.00 dollar difference. Ouch! term. After owning our vehicles for over 10 years, an accident forced us to be in the market for a new car. Since we were out of the loop for so long, we knew we needed to search for the best vehicle for our fam forced us to be in the market for a new car. Since we were out of the loop for so long, we knew we needed to search for the best vehicle for our family of 6. Gerald Green approached us to offer assistance on our visit to Kia. He asked questions to find out our needs, found a vehicle to test drive, and answered every question my husband or I asked. Although his manager tried to get us to stay, I knew for my own sanity that I needed to compare the Sedona to other minivans that I had searched on-line. We left and browsed elsewhere. The next day we found ourselves back at Kia asking for Gerald. He assisted us in purchasing the vehicle that we felt would best suit our family's needs. Because the color we wanted was not on the lot, we waited only 1 day for our new van to arrive. When we picked it up, Gerald showed us all of the features, how they worked, and he even synchronized my phone for bluetooth...which I had no clue about!!! He answered all questions and even offered additional information that "other customers often ask". While we waited to see the finance guy, which took a long time, Gerald even treated my children to some candy at the vending machine (and he even had already sold the car :) ). Scott Taylor finally saw us to make everything official. He was also a super nice guy. I would recommend Gerald to anyone. He did a fabulous job. He made the experience of purchasing a new vehicle a very positive one. More
Great customer service. Friendly staff. Sales consultant Gerald very attentive and good follow up. Only issue was the price negotiation process I was not used to in Europe. My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 Kia Forte from this dealership. Our consultant who was with us throughout the entire process was Gerald Greene. In my opinion he was very professional. Gerald was knowledgeable about the car, but really made him great was all the extra "little" information he gave us. He was upfront and Honest from the beginning, which was nice because we knew what to expect from the start. Honestly things were great until the first manager came out. Frankly,he was kind of a jerk. It seemed as if he could care less if they earned our business or not. The second manager was much better. He worked with us, and also helped with extra stuff. He helped us get our insurance together to get the car home. He worked well getting all of our financing information together. Between him (John I believe) and Gerald the process was simple and smooth. They even put up with us through our tough negotiations. :) In my opinion it's because of employees like them that the kia franchise is growing. We had been to several Kia dealerships prior to them, and seen the same cars, with the same "perks". Honestly, what sold us on their car was the professionalism and customer service by their employees. If you go there to buy a car, ask for Gerald! More
