I've been a die hard Honda fan since before I could drive. Went from a 1990-Accord, to a 2004-Accord, then a 2008. Recently I've taken on 2 more very small children ( 1yr & 3yrs) so of course my 08' Accord was now use less. I really didn't want to part ways especially after having it for 4 years but I had no choice. After searching online for about 2 weeks I found a used 2012 Acura MDX fully loaded, navigation etc. on Cargus.com. I contacted them and got a response directly from the dealership internet team within a hour. About a 4 days later I finally found the time to go there and check the car out. Every detail about the car was just as it was on Cargus including the mileage and it also had a clear CarFax. I knew the note was going to be high though due to my "decent" credit score and also the lack of income. ( I drive for Uber on weekends only, but I make a killing when I do 😉) Anyway the banks said no! I was crushed because I really needed a larger vehicle for my new family situation. All that afternoon I'd been working with #NISSANJOHN. Very very very pleasant man might I add. He informed me that I was approved for a 2017 Nissan Altima but for that I may as well drive back off the lot in my Accord. I told him that a sedan will not work for me at all. I was so ready to leave, pick the kids up and try again some other time else where when he let me know he had a surprise for me. They granted me an extended test drive for 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT A PATHFINDER!!!!!! But hey I have nothing to lose at this point and it's always nice to test drive a brand new car with a full tank of gas lol! Plus I laughed when they said I would like this truck. Like seriously?! I am a HONDA/ACURA woman period! I smirked and left... I jumped in the truck and after 20mins of driving I fell in love.( I am a traitor. I'm embarrassed. Please don't tell Honda) The level of comfort this SUV brought to me. The ease of getting the little ones in and out as I made my rounds to school/daycare. The technology that came with the SUV was impeccable. (Honda has always been kind of bland in the technology department) Anyway let me wrap this up. I got the SUV as as a lease which is great because I'll only have the 2 additional little ones for a year. Also at end of the day and wrapping things up with the bank there was a sudden drastic price change due to me requesting the black on black model. I was like xxxx no not for that price and was prepared to leave! I was pissed that a simple color change made the price jump that xxxx much. BUT the financial team worked their magic so not only did I get the note at at cheaper price, they worked it to where the note was about $70 cheaper than the amount that I agreed to BEFORE the color change!!! Getting me into the size vehicle I needed was a team effort. I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with everyone involved. Especially how once #NISSANJOHN saw that the sedan was not going to work for me he didn't pressure me into why I should still get it. He went and got help to get me what I needed, not what they (the banks/dealership) wanted. It was a team effort at the dealership that day. I did not leave feeling like I had been "got" I am so satisfied with this SUV honestly. #NISSANJOHN has checked in on us twice since we bought it which means alot because most dealerships could give a xxxx once you sign the paperwork and leave the lot. I feel like we've built a relationship there and I'm glad I found them. Although I went there in search of what I was used to, I got what was even better. A more comfortable car, happy kids, and a great relationship with wonderful people at #JeffWylerKingsNissan I would recommend this place to everyone in search of dealership that you can trust.
