Very poor experience This was the worst purchasing experience of my life. I arrived at the dealership knowing which car I wanted with price that had been negotiated at an This was the worst purchasing experience of my life. I arrived at the dealership knowing which car I wanted with price that had been negotiated at another dealership. I had previously done business at Superior Hyundai North (as had my family) and wanted to be loyal. I only wanted the dealership to beat the price. When I arrived, the sales person was occupied with another sale even though I had an appointment with him. He soon found time for me and reviewed the numbers hurriedly. He stated they could beat the price. I took a test drive without him as he continued with his sale in progress. Fast forward 3 hours and my 5 year old daughter, the salesman, and the finance person were the only ones left in the dealership. I was pressured to sign a deal that was $1,250 more than promised. I attempted to keep calm and set a good example for my child. I rationally explained the numbers and was told that they were 'pure fantasy' and that the dealership was 'already losing money on the deal'. When I attempted to cancel the deal, the two Hyundai employees informed me that my trade in was locked in the service department and I could not get it back that day. After I threatened to involve the police, they allowed me to drive the not-yet-purchased new car home. The next day, I set up an appointment to get things cleared up. The two blockers ($500 trade in and $750 financing offer) were resolved and we got the deal signed. Even though I again had an appointment, the salesperson was too busy to show me the features of the car. When I told him that was 'alright', he made time to tell me that over 33% of his salary was dependent on a good score of the Hyundai consumer survey. He reviewed a scorecard that the dealership produces to coach customers on how to answer. A few days later, the general manager sent me an e-mail: "If there is anything that would keep you from rating our service to you as excellent (10's on the Hyundai Survey), please contact me right away and give me further opportunity to provide you with best service possible." I left him a voicemail. Serveral days later, I was contacted by another employee of the dealership asking if my experience was satisfactory. She encouraged me again to give a perfect score on the survey. I asked her to have the general manager call me so that I could provide feedback on my experience. I have not heard back from the general manager. More

This year my I have been leasing Genesis cars from Superior for 9 years now. Jared Fox has always made it an easy and pleasant experience as possible. This year my daughter started driving and we needed an extra car. Jared and Trevor helped us to turn in our lease and got us set up with two great deals. One a 2015 5.0 Genesis with the ultimate package and a loaded Forte. It is great working with a team that can analyze your situation and quickly give you multiple solutions. The service department is clean and does a great job. More
I bought a car The title sounds simplistic, or flippant even, but when a customer has to slap down thousands of dollars, we don't have to buy a car. This was not my The title sounds simplistic, or flippant even, but when a customer has to slap down thousands of dollars, we don't have to buy a car. This was not my first dealership I went to while looking for my next car. It wasn't going to be my last either. I had criteria that had to be met and had my own ideas about what I wanted/needed. Gas mileage was a concern, leg room was another must, and the car had to be affordable. Chris asked me what I was looking for and we were on the same page from the beginning. We discussed different models, and although he let us check out cars with superior gas mileage, he knew it wouldn't be right for my comfort expectations. He kept leading me back to what we were after all along. He did not try to show me the most expensive car on the lot (good thing because I would have been put off by it and wouldn't have bought it anyway). He basically showed me exactly what I was after. All three of my must haves led me to the Sonata. My wife and I rented one about two years ago and we were very impressed, so we were leaning that way anyway. He did show us the Sport model that took the price up $900, but I love the moon roof (or is it a sun roof?) so that was something we could splurge on. There were three different colors of the sport model on the lot, and after much indecision, Chris allowed us to remain undecided and showed us numbers anyway. The dealership was very patient with us and they stayed open for us well past closing time (more than three hours past). After the sale, Chris allowed me to meet him at his house on a Sunday afternoon to swap cars so that he could take mine in for some special service and I wouldn't have to make a special trip on Monday morning. It worked out great for me but for him... I picked up my car at 11:35 PM on Monday. More
