I had a very good experience at Jeff Wyler Honda. Charley was great. She was friendly and fun and I found it very easy to buy a car from her. I love my Civic and have never owned a car that I've enjoyed more was great. She was friendly and fun and I found it very easy to buy a car from her. I love my Civic and have never owned a car that I've enjoyed more. We got a wonderful deal. The only negative was that the tires were not inflated properly, which I figured out once I discovered what the symbol on the dash meant. I can only assume no one at the dealership noticed it when the car was being prepared. I did not receive a manual with the car so I was kind of on my own, but one air compressor and 75 cents later all was again well with the world. I've since downloaded the operator's manual. But, that being said, I bought a great car at a great price and sincerely enjoyed my experience. I wish Charley all the best and I know she will keep up the good work. Jeff Bentle More
I wanted to share some of my recent experiences with the local honda dealers in the area with everyone. First I have purchased 4 cars from jeff wyler colerain. I have all my service done ther and am always local honda dealers in the area with everyone. First I have purchased 4 cars from jeff wyler colerain. I have all my service done ther and am always treated fairly and honestly. If something needs to be done on my car they let me know and they always try to get honda to help out even if it is past the warranty period. I have had 4 seemless purchases through this dealership. This time I visited and called some other dealers first to make sure I was getting a good deal. The other dealers all played games. They quoted prices and didn't include destination or other items that were installed on the car. example all season protection packages and spoilers. This was after I made it very clear I needed the price to be out the door. On the flip side the treatment i had at jeff wyler was very smooth and straight forward. They gave me the price and that is what it ended up being. In addition they have always done a good job taking care of me in service. I know people have to shop and make sure you are getting a good price but I almost got too caught up in a few dollars and made a bad decicsion. I would rather pay a little more and get the best service and not be deceived. In the end I didn't pay any more and got to do business with the dealership I have had the best experiences with the past 9 years. More

We normally do not look forward to a car buying experience but this time we were quite satisfied. We had done our research first on the internet so we realized that the price offered was a reasonab experience but this time we were quite satisfied. We had done our research first on the internet so we realized that the price offered was a reasonable one for the vehicle. We were treated in a friendly yet intelligent manner and the process was completely explained. We have dealt with Jeff Wyler Honda previously when we bought our 2004 CR-V and will continue to have our new car serviced there. More
This dealership was the best experience I had with buying a new car and even looking for a new car (we had been to many dealerships and nothing compares to Colerain Honda). We have looked and looked for a n a new car and even looking for a new car (we had been to many dealerships and nothing compares to Colerain Honda). We have looked and looked for a new car. My intentions were not to buy when we went there but the team was so great we did end up buying a new car and I'm trilled. Geneva and Chuck were awesome. They stayed after hours and treated us as number 1. I'd recommend this dealer and the sales team we had to everyone. More
The internet team made this car purchase so quick & easy. They went out of their way to find me the exact car I wanted. The pricing was very fair and the enthusiasm of the sales team was overwhelming. I have They went out of their way to find me the exact car I wanted. I settled on a buy price of $25,610.00 with $250 doc fee and $48.50 other fee for total of $27,589.40 at the 2.9% incentive finance for 60 months. (Hamilton Cty tax is $1680). Charley takes the info to the and $48.50 other fee for total of $27,589.40 at the 2.9% incentive finance for 60 months. (Hamilton Cty tax is $1680). Charley takes the info to the business manager and comes back to advise me this worked out to $513/month, showing me the number of $513 hand written on paper. I was later told this handwritten monthly price of $513, was calculated by a business manager I did not meet. $513/month total, for 60 months is NOT the correct monthly cost based on the data above which was clearly given to the dealer. So WATCH OUT and pay attention to your math as this may be a tactic the dealer uses to take your money. Do the math on your own on Bloomberg.com (and see the cost for the deal above should be $493/month. That is a $1200 "mistake" the dealer was going to make in their favor. You can also do the math in the business manager office before you close by making them turn their monitor screen so you can see it and making them put all you ORIGINAL offer data in the computer. MAKE SURE they do this and if you are not sure what is going on, get help as you should not trust. Here is why the "error" was made. And notice it would cost you, since nobody would be correcting it later. So after I get told the wrong monthly payment cost of $513, I get the offer of protective coatings, worth $799 that can be added to the $513 monthly for only $3.50/mo, so for only $516.50 I can have the protection. Of course I say NO as this is worthless. Charley comes back from a visit to the business manager after I decline to pay for the protection, and says I can have the protection for free, since they will add the $799 protection cost to the car price, but reduce the interest rate to offset, by moving it down to 2.74%. I ask why, and Charley asks Chuck, another business manager who is nearby, to explain, and they both tell me the lower interest rate of (2.74% vs 2.9%) saves me as much as the cost of the protective package ($799), and they get rebates back that makes it worth it to them to do this. Fine, I will take free stuff. When it comes time to close, I have to sign several papers before we get to the one that means I will buy the car. Chuck is handling the close, and tells me he found a mistake on the calculation, and the monthly cost is $507/mo, and I save. How nice, but he is still WRONG and HIGH on price, which will cost me and YOU if you choose to just accept and trust what you are told without thinking. I ask Chuck to place the data at the top of this page into his computer. He changes the interest rate from 2.74% back to the original of 2.9% but hesitates to change the purchase price back down the $799 cost of the protective package. He tries to tell me I am saving $121 on interest, but the only cost that matters is FINAL cost, which is monthly payment times months. When I insist he put the cost of the car, minus the $799 protection package into the computer, the correct monthly cost of $493/month shows on the screen. The hand written monthly cost of $513/month was wrong, the new price of $507/month was wrong, and I would have been charged for the protective coatings pack as the "error" was only visible when I forced them to show me the monthly cost of the original deal I wanted. This process is probably used regularly, as the business manager has all those add on cost for warranty to offer. Nothing wrong with reviewing the add on items you may want, but BOTTOM LINE, MAKE SURE THE STARTING PRICE IS CALCULATED AND CORRECT, OR YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY DEALS SINCE YOU WILL BE OVERPAYING FROM THE START AND ANY DEALS THEY OFFER WILL BE ERASED AND PAID FOR BY THE 'ERROR" MADE AT THE START WHEN YOU GET TOLD A WRONG PAYMENT AMOUNT. As always, beware, and forget about how you feel, go with facts, numbers and math. If you don't know how to do calculations, go to Bloomberg.com, get to the personal calculator page and start putting in numbers to get a feel for what you will be paying. I believe I was set up by the dealer as any business manager running prices and interest rates for longer than a month will know you cannot offset a cost of $799 with an interest rate adjustment of less than a quarter percent for 5 years. I knew this too, but just waited for the process to run its course to see how it got handled. Only when I found the issue, and pressed for correction did it get admitted. Then the team hid behind the handoff from one person to another and the error belonged to a faceless business manager who was out for the moment. Unfortunate experience and I believe what almost cost me does cost others who trust and do not verify. More
