I was only in just to look. I never thought I'd drive away in a brand new car!! I was nervous about buying my own car and they made me feel more relaxed by offering me a water and a chance to relax and watch tv while I was waiting. I had the most enjoyable car buying experience. Following our initial contact with the Jeff Wyler Honda internet team, we were alternately limited in our car shopping by an assortment of illnesses and injuries. Throughout our five week ordeal, the abov internet team, we were alternately limited in our car shopping by an assortment of illnesses and injuries. Throughout our five week ordeal, the above internet team maintained contact with us and offered us encouragement. This was NOT true of other internet contacts we had established. JWH internet team expressed an ongoing interest in the PERSONS who were shopping for a new vehicle, not simply in making a quick sale to "some buyer". We had some special requirements of the vehicle we were interested in obtaining and the JWH internet team worked tirelessly with us to obtain a vehicle with those components. Needless to say, Jeff Wyler Honda and the Honda automobile was not the only vehicle we inspected, drove, and investigated. However, the JWH internet team was unsurpassed in the service and information it provided us. It quickly became abundantly clear to us that we were dealing with a team of experienced professionals at JWH. At the conclusion of our search, we selected a Honda CRV EX-L which had all of the features we wanted in a replacement car for our Toyota Camry and none of the features which we did not want included. Completing the paperwork to finalize the sale took longer than we had anticipated but, since we don't buy a new car every three years, we had no idea what to expect or how much time to allot. Internet team member, Tom Stout, stayed with us through it all, instructing us what was transpiring like Hall of Famer, Marty Breneman, calling a Cincinnati Reds game. We left the dealership with the exact car for which we had been shopping and, 3 1/2 hours later, we were on the road to Atlanta to spend time with our daughter and grandson. Past experiences related to car purchases have been less than enjoyable! We did all initial research this time via the internet team at Wyler which was efficient and painless. When it came time to actually come to test drive the Honda Civic and work out the final deal, the process was super easy. Our salesperson, Matthew Bokeno, answered the questions we had and was very knowledgable about every aspect of the car and leasing agreement. There was no haggling over the price since this had previouisly been worked out via e-mail and telephone conversations. Without a doubt, he will be who I contact when I am ready to buy my own new car next year! More
Came in contact with this dealership via the internet. The first person I interacted with, Britney, was professional and courteous and wanted to earn my business. I told her the type of vehicle I wanted and asked for the out-the-door price. Over lunch I brought in my vehicle to get it appraised for trade-in. That's when the problems started. Britney handed me off to Matt. Matt made me wait and came with the line "we work by appointment here". He looked at what I was wanting to trade, highlighted the defects that I was up-front with him about and pulled the typical high-pressure car salesman schtick - "are you going to buy today?" He wanted to know what I was expecting on the trade - and when I wouldn't give him a number he kept prying. As we sat down he slowed things down and (of course) had to talk with the manager. He asked what other dealers I'd been to - I declined to answer; he said "I want to earn your business today" and "I'm not in the car sales business, I'm in the relationship-building business" -- puhlease... After touting his dealership and (finally) going to get the manager's approval (I guess on the relationship-building) he came back with a ridiculous number. I had told him my best price on the new vehicle from a competitor and told him the best price on my trade-in. He then wasted 10 minutes going to dealerrater.com where "oh...look at this - here's a review...I haven't read it yet..." and reading aloud a glowing review of his work. Then he told me he really shouldn't share pricing with me because I wasn't ready to buy today. The final price jacked up the price of the new vehicle, gave me what the best price was on the trade and he told me that $600 off was a "great price" - the best price I'd gotten was without the trade. Insulting. I told him to re-work the numbers and give me a call and left the dealership - he begged me to come back in.... Matt - guess what? I told you I'd buy a car this week - and tonight I did. Just not from Jeff Wyler Honda. Because of you, I will never knowingly spend a cent with a Wyler dealership ever. More
