We took my girlfriend's vehicle in to have a faulty hood-latch sensor either fixed (replaced) or disconnected. Upon picking up the vehicle, however, the Check Engine Light was now suddenly on. The sh hood-latch sensor either fixed (replaced) or disconnected. Upon picking up the vehicle, however, the Check Engine Light was now suddenly on. The shop was closing, and so the receptionist was the only employee left to speak to about the issue. The receptionist, who had no mechanical experience or expertise, then told my girlfriend that this was normal, to go ahead and drive the vehicle, and that the sensor should turn off automatically after being driven a little bit. Unfortunately, this was horrible advice, for after a couple days, the Check Engine Light was still on, and irreparable damage had been done to the car. We then called Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence to explain the situation, and they were not willing to accept any responsibility for the situation. The best offer the GM could afford me was 10% off a diagnostics check to see what had triggered the Check Engine Light to come on between the time we dropped it off and picked it back up. They refuted the idea (AND REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE) that they returned our vehicle to us with the Check Engine Light on and that their receptionist was providing mechanical advise, despite not having any mechanical knowledge or background. I've never had a worse experience with any automotive service company, and I would strongly urge any new customer to consider taking their vehicle anywhere else to have it serviced. More

Having moved to Oregon I was hesitant about buying a new car from people I’ve never met .But because I had spoken with Eric during a visit home in Ohio about contemplating a new purchase. Just like family .So much so that I did end up purchasing a 2020 Honda Insight brand new off the lot ! Of course in Oregon but if wasn’t for Eric’s knowledge and great representation of the people who make our community strong.I wouldn’t have made the purchase with such confidence.
