Had a GREAT experience buying our new 2012 Honda Accord from Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence, KY. We showed up late after work on the 1st of April to test-drive (only-we weren't buying yet) an Accord. Cody Fowler, our salesman, knew we were coming so he had the car pulled out, ready and waiting for us. It had started raining as we arrived (bummer) so Cody put the vehicle under the covered pick-up area, which my wife really appreciated. Sounds simple right? How many dealerships even have a 'covered pick-up area?' And if they do - how many salesman will move the car under-cover as it begins to rain? Suffice to say, our experience here started off very positively due to Cody's friendly and professional manner. We also asked to test drive another vehicle - so Cody happily trounced into the rain again to bring us over the 2012 Honda Civic. We had test-drove the Toyota Camry and Hyundai Sonata earlier so we were now ready to talk numbers. We did really like the Accord. But were looking for the best deal. Remember it's getting late - so the showroom floors starting to get quiet as people wrap up their day. But not Cody, or Dan Hollenkamp, they still have a customer. Even the showroom cars had vanished as the floors were being waxed that evening. It should be noted that Cody, Dan and a lot of others just finished a long March sales event the day before - they said it was a great event with tons of sales - they looked a little run over - but were still smiling as they answered my wifes tough questions. With all questions answered - An offer was made by Dan that we couldn't refuse. One of those too-good-to-be-true deals. My wife and I were left alone to talk privately as we sifted through the offer, trying to determine where the catch was? We couldn't find one. The deal truly was impressive. Remember we'd been to the other dealers and knew their offers already. Jeff Wyler Honda couldn't be beat. We then walked to the back to ensure we had just the right car in mind - the 2012 Honda Accord in Basque Red, with ivory interior. We did. Only problem now was all the detail guys had gone and Dan & Cody said we could take the car home that night. So, as we sat with the finance guy - Chad Dambaugh - who also stayed way past his scheduled day. Normally, the finance guy is my least favorite person - he's the one who adds it all up and gives you the REAL story. But not here, Chad was pleasant, professional and efficient! The numbers didn't change! Meanwhile, Dan Hollenkamp - the sales manager, unknowingly took our car to the back and detailed it himself. Again - think about it - the SALES MANAGER DETAILED THE CAR HIMSELF. How many other SM's would do that? Zero! We were again impressed with the level of customer service we were receiving. Admittedly, Dan said he wasn't the best detailer and offered for us to bring it back soon to have the pros give it the once over. You could've fooled us - It looked GREAT!! As Dan, Cody & Chad left, they were still smiling and thanked us for being a part of their family - by now it was way past 10:30pm. All in all, we had (and are having) a great experience with the staff at Jeff Wyler Honda of Florence. I had some accessories added recently and the maintenance writers as well as what appeared to be my own personal assistant - Pete Bambach (another great guy who seems to go out of his way to make sure you're MORE than satisfied) all have done an absolute wonderful job of making us feel like we bought our Honda at the best dealership in town. Our Kudos once again to Cody Fowler, Chad Dambaugh, Pete Bambach and especially Dan Hollenkamp who all have worked very hard to make sure we have been well taken care of at every level. Not only do their actions speak well of the dealership, but also it's leadership. Whatever, you're doing to keep your employees feel appreciated - double it - they deserve it! Free lunch on Fridays, having the ice cream truck stop by, tickets to Florence Freedom...whatever it is they've earned it at Jeff Wyler Honda! When I first went to the Honda dealership, I was dissappointed to say the least in the decision I made on purchasing a Kia Sportage. I wanted to return it right away, and though I felt this process was not moving fast enough for me, I was met with concern and the customer service was better than any other. Dan Hollenkamp knew I was not happy with my Kia, made a promise to make certain I was happy, because “at the end of the day” he wanted me to walk away with a smile. I am now a proud owner of a 2009 Honda CRV. This is the only dealership that makes a promise and sticks by it. Now everyone knows at Honda that no other vehicle compares to Honda. I've been driving my new 2012 Honda Civic LX for about 2 weeks and I'm very happy with it. This is the first Honda we have owned and so far, I really like the car.
