My daughter and her husband were in contact with a salesman at Jeff Wyler Kia Eastgate throughout the day Monday November 8th 2021. They told him that they would be there after work to buy a car they salesman at Jeff Wyler Kia Eastgate throughout the day Monday November 8th 2021. They told him that they would be there after work to buy a car they were advertising. My son in law finalized the sale of his truck at noon knowing they were going to buy a car that evening. They followed up with a final call when they were 30 minutes out and was told that the car was still available. When they arrived they were told that the car had been sold. They tried a bait and switch to get them to purchase a much higher priced car. Proudly, they walked away. They were made to believe that the car was being held for them. IF the car was available when they called, why didn’t they ask for a credit card to hold the vehicle? Talking about the stereotypical sleazy salesman/dealership. I will be sure to spread this review far and wide!! More
BUYER BEWARE!!! Save yourself the time, frustration and flat out avoid Jeff Wyler Eastgate when you're in the market for a vehicle. Bottom line, Tri-State insiders take their business elsewhere. Unless you flat out avoid Jeff Wyler Eastgate when you're in the market for a vehicle. Bottom line, Tri-State insiders take their business elsewhere. Unless you literally have time and money to burn, and you're willing to absolutely get taken to the cleaners, by all means, shop here. How the Ohio Attorney General let's them get away with deceptive advertising practices without including pre-sale aftermarket $800 blinking tail lights that you may not interested in and $3500-4000 market adjustments over MSRP in their advertised prices is beyond me. It really is downright shameful. Either there are enough uneducated, non-savvy shoppers in the Tri-State that keep this place operating, or folks must think there is no alternative when shopping for a vehicle nowadays. The car shopping world be much more palatable if Jeff Wyler Eastgate wasn't included in the mix. I felt compelled to take the time to write this review to hopefully help consumers avoid an unnecessary financial haircut when purchasing a new car. You are simply better than this; YOU ARE NOT PREY. It's uncanny when reading other reviews of Jeff Wyler Eastgate that they encountered the same deceptive sales tactics with little up front price transparency. I'm grateful I had enough common sense to take my business elsewhere. I happened to be shopping for a Mazda. I had two experiences at two competing competitors where they used actual customer-provided Jeff Wyler sales quotations with $3500-4000 market adjustments and $800 aftermarket blinking tail lights in their sales presentations. Initially, I thought this simply couldn't be true and possibly was just another sales tactic in and of itself. A competing dealership put me up to the challenge and to reach out to Jeff Wyler Eastgate to see if my experience would be any different. The competing dealership put there money where their mouth was and I opted to take the challenge. My experience was no different. Jeff Wyler did have a vehicle I was interested in and much to my dismay, I got the same $800 aftermarket blinking tail light and $3500 market adjustment over MSRP added to the bottom line on my quote. I can assure you there other alternatives out there that don't embrace these types of deceptive selling and pricing practices you'll see at Jeff Wyler Eastgate. Bear in mind, these are exceptionally challenging times when shopping for a vehicle used or new due to limited supply / supply-chain constraints. Unfortunately, there are dealerships like Jeff Wyler that are cashing in because uneducated and foolish consumers didn't take the time to educate themselves that not every dealer operates in the same fashion as Jeff Wyler Eastgate. I can rest easy knowing I didn't end up a VICTIM paying hyped up and overinflated new car pricing at Jeff Wyler. Even in challenging times, you can still buy a new car without paying dealer inflated mark-ups. Bar none, steer clear of Jeff Wyler Eastgate. More
STAY AWAY!!! Worst experience I’ve had in my life. Attempted to purchase a Kia K5 from Jeff Wyler Kia in Batavia, Oh on 8/31/2021. Internet price $27,475 including military discount (I’m a 15y Attempted to purchase a Kia K5 from Jeff Wyler Kia in Batavia, Oh on 8/31/2021. Internet price $27,475 including military discount (I’m a 15yr Service Member currently serving our nation). Price was reduced from MSRP because it had 1100 miles on it as a service loaner and some very minor imperfections. Quoted $27,475 as the internet price, but was repeatedly sold Gap Insurance, “hard accessories,” - things added by the dealer after delivery that are not removable, extended warranty, nitrogen inflation, etc.. blah blah blah. Dishonest sales tactics at their finest. After several rounds of, “I don’t want any of the extras; just the car for the price quoted of $27,475,” I asked what is the lowest I can take the car. I was told, “If ready to write a check for the full price today, then $32,500 and some odd change,” five thousand over the internet price. That’s the lowest! After their attempts to sell me approximately $10-12k of useless crap. BUYER BEWARE! Choose a different dealer, because the salesman was, “doing his job,” meaning Jeff Wyler and his sales associates will steal every penny that your are willing or unwittingly giving to them. More

We took our 2017 Kia Sportage in to Jeff Wyler Kia service in Eastgate for extended warranty coverage on the AC system. We were charged $400.50 for the “diagnosis” , for which we were promised by the service in Eastgate for extended warranty coverage on the AC system. We were charged $400.50 for the “diagnosis” , for which we were promised by the service advisor, reimbursement since the diagnosis is included as part of the warranty coverage, once the extended warranty company agreed to the warranty work. It was explained to us that we were expected to drive our car with dye in the AC system, which had been inserted by a service technician, as part of the “diagnostic process”, then return with our car for a second scheduled visit, at which time the AC system “leak” would be found and repaired under our extended warranty coverage. Though it was not convenient for us to first of all, continue driving the car without proper cooling and then to return with our car for a second scheduled visit, and be without our automobile for an indefinite period of time, we agreed to the “process”, trusting that this process was, indeed, a means to our automobile’s AC being covered and repaired under our extended warranty. When picking up our car once the extended warranty repair was completed, we were charged another $128.47 (which included our anticipated $100.00 deductible plus tax of $28.47). When we asked about the $400.50 that we were promised would be reimbursed as part of the extended warranty coverage, we were advised by Jeff Wyler Kia service advisor Robert that we needed to call our extended warranty company to receive reimbursement. Though we felt that this seemed irregular, we called Endurance, our extended warranty company, who disclosed the amount paid to Jeff Wyler Kia service: $ 875.00, which included one labor hour for diagnosis, two labor hours for replacing defective compressor (including evacuation and recharging of Freon in AC system), the cost of freon, plus extended warranty company cost of new compressor and shipping of part, The extended warranty company then advised that we would need to reach out to Jeff Wyler Kia service for reimbursement of the $400.50 since the warranty coverage for our automobile had been paid in full to Jeff Wyler Kia service.. When we reached out to Jeff Wyler Kia service we were advised by service advisor Robert that the extended warranty company should pay the $400.50 “diagnostic” fee that we paid after the first visit for the extended warranty service for our AC leak. Unlike us, Robert was aware, when he called us to tell us that the car’s AC compressor was defective and was covered under the extended warranty, that we would not be reimbursed by Jeff Wyler Kia service or Endurance, our extended warranty company for the $400.50 that we were charged on our initial visit for diagnosis of our AC system. We truly were given the “run around”. Jeff Wyler Kia service department was dishonest with information regarding charges and making promises they knew were untrue. More
