You don’t have record of me because my name isn’t Oz. The salesman I worked with was David. He was the worst salesman I have ever worked with. I purchased the white 2018 4Runner. On October 3rd 2023 I visited the dealership and it was purchased October 6th 2023. The price I was offered was $28,500 plus $300 for tax, title, license and doc fee. That was the price I negotiated before I arrived. David wouldn’t honor that price and he wanted to add on extra fees and product that he said were already on the vehicle. He was also pushing an APR that was 8 points higher than what I qualify for. He had the monthly payment at $800! On October 4th Halley Swaynie contacted me and apologized. She offered the original negotiated price without dealership add ons. This price along with the APR from my bank brought my payment down to $515 for the same term! All this hassle I got from David was completely unnecessary. Than you delivered the wrong car for a test drive! Than when I finally test drove the car on October 6th it was disgusting and smelled like smoke! It literally had a woman’s long hair all over the interior. Does anyone clean these vehicles before you sell them? After the purchase I spent hours steam cleaning the fabric and floors. I cleaned everything inside the vehicle and fumigated it to get the smoke smell out. The car is great now with no smell of smoke. 2 months later you tell me you can’t honor the APR I signed for! Are you kidding me?!?! So I went through my personal bank and got an APR that was even lower. It all worked out in the end. The amount of hassle I received showed me that your organization is crooked from top to bottom. Your only saving grace was your internet sales team. It’s unfortunate that your floor sales team doesn’t honor the price your internet sales team negotiates.

Christina Lane, My review was left on the Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall page. A.J Castle a manager from Eastgate Auto Mall responded to my review trying to act like I’ve never been there. I assure you that I was there at Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall on October 3rd 2023. The terrible salesman was David. I had a the price of the car negotiated prior to my arrival and David told me he can not honor that price. I showed him my txt message conversation and gave him the number of the person I talked to. David told me that the person I talked to left for the day and they can no longer honor that price. He than tried to sell me on additional dealership add ons and he tried to sell me on a higher APR! The whole experience was terrible and unnecessary. Is it normal practice to take advantage of people trying to get back on their feet and make them pay $800 a month?! The payment is $515! That’s almost a $300 A MONTH difference for the same term! This is a horrible dealership from top to bottom and I hope my review saves a future customer from visiting this dealership.

Yes, it is concerning knowing that my wife and have purchased over 8 cars from your dealer. The catch all is being charged for something that was under warranty on the first visit for the issue, but couldn’t find the problem/fix. Then to be told by Dennis at the service desk that throttle body sensor was causing all the electronics to malfunction and said they figured it out and once again after a rain all the dash lights go on and car goes into limp mode. Called to set something up and the girl on the phone said we can book your appointment but would have to see about a courtesy vehicle as we have no other transportation while you look at this for the 3 rd time and the last time was over a week long. Let’s not forget that the wheel well plastic guard on driver side front was never put back in a now you can see straight to the engine from just looking at the side of front driver wheel.
