I inquired via text about a specific Kia model and was contacted by Charles Glover, an employee of this dealership. After telling him what I wanted, he said he’d get back to me with a price. So I waited, contacted by Charles Glover, an employee of this dealership. After telling him what I wanted, he said he’d get back to me with a price. So I waited, and waited. We ended up on the phone, and he said he was getting the runaround on the numbers, and I really needed to come in to the dealership. We had to be on the phone for fifteen minutes, and I was very specific. “Will you be there, is the car I want on the lot and available”, etc. Charles reassured me on all fronts. Mind you, I was desperate for a car, having just had my car totaled in an accident. So I opted to skip a business dinner and drove the 26 minutes to the dealership. I go to the Kia building (there are five different auto makers represented at this dealership), and asked for Charles Glover. They didn’t know who he was. After much confusion, we figure out that Charles Glover was at the Nissan building, and he asked someone else to take care of me. Of course, they didn’t have the car, it was a total waste of a trip, and I missed a business dinner. After expressing my displeasure with Charles Glover, he then had the audacity to invite me to Nissan to talk more. In conclusion, Charles Glover was intentionally dishonest with me to get me into the dealership under false pretenses, and you have to wonder if that’s how all there dealers are trained. My subsequent complaint to a superior was met with stonewalling, and now I have to wait until Friday to speak with his boss, just to even air my grievances. What a sham of a business. David S. More
I found a Defender on their website, I was initially dealing with Antonio. After a few text messages and emails we agreed on a price. He then informed me that I had to come in to sign papers before th dealing with Antonio. After a few text messages and emails we agreed on a price. He then informed me that I had to come in to sign papers before they would sell me the vehicle. I live 375 miles away and want to have the vehicle shipped or I would fly to pick it up. After a few more text messages I was informed by Halley (Internet Manager) that I had to finance with one of their 40+ lenders. I responded that I wanted to finance with my local CU. Finally she agreed to allow me to finance and have them send or bring a cashiers check. 10 minutes after the phone call confirming the price we had previously agreed to, she called me back to inform me the vehicle was no longer available and that one of their Executives was buying it. I calmly told her we had an agreed upon transaction for days, she informed me that we didn't and it was first come, first serve. It's no wonder car sales people are viewed as having no integrity. I never, ever leave bad reviews. I have always felt they are unproductive and a waste of time. I am only doing this one to potentially save another buyer from having this same experience. As they say, customer service comes from the top down, just wonder how many levels this type of customer service goes up the Jeff Wyler leadership ladder. Would have been a little easier to accept this if they sold it to another customer, but to a Wyler executive versus a customer..ugh It's almost laughable, if I wasn't so utterly disappointed. I assume they are a very large (successful) dealership, and I am sure it wasn't built on these deceptive practices. I just happened to deal with Halley and Antonio... many buyers buy from the internet, I think they need to review your sales practices. The communication email and text from the start was very unprofessional and awkward. More

We've bought several cars from Wyler over the 17 years we've lived in the area. The staff are very professional. We also have the vast majority of our aervice work done there also (except perhaps tires & we've lived in the area. The staff are very professional. We agreed on a price then when the salesman came back from the management den the price had increased $$$ for a lot of extras. They removed them but would not finance with my preapproved personal bank, I from the management den the price had increased $$$ for a lot of extras. They removed them but would not finance with my preapproved personal bank, I had to use theirs. They put the loan with Ally Bank at a much higher interest rate. Working with Ally was a nightmare. No one there speaks English. I really wanted the truck they had but beyond that, nothing was pleasant about the experience. I now have it financed through my bank. I'll not be going back to Jeff Wyler. More

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Every dirty salesman tactic was used. I negotiated with a salesman over the phone and had a price set before I arrived at the dealership. When I show Every dirty salesman tactic was used. I negotiated with a salesman over the phone and had a price set before I arrived at the dealership. When I showed up the salesman was not there and the car was given out as a loaner. I talked to a new salesman about the car and he said they can not honor the price I negotiated. I showed him the price I was offered over txt and they wouldn’t honor it. They also came back with an APR that was 8 points over what my personal bank qualified me for. Eventually, after an hour they said they can beat my pre-approved APR. They also said they can drive the car to me for a test drive when the car gets returned. So, a couple days later they bring me the wrong car! At this point I asked to talk to the supervisor. Eventually my original negotiated price was honored and I drove down again to look at the car. The car wasn’t detailed and it smelled like smoke. I told them to detail it and get the smoke smell out. Eventually a deal was made. Their original offer was at $800 a month that included all the xx extra fees like etching, seat protection (scotchguard) etc. I got the price lowered to my original negotiated price, the xx fees removed and my APR lowered. This brought my monthly payment to $515! BUT THATS NOT THE END OF THE STORY. 2 months later they tell me they can not honor the APR they offered me and I need to come back in to renegotiate! xxx! I went to my personal bank and got an even lower APR and transferred the paperwork to my bank. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE! PS. Jeff Wyler, don’t bother giving me a canned response in a lame attempt to save face. Your dealership sucks top to bottom. You are the reason why people will never trust a dealership. More
