I'm in TN and worked over the phone with sales reps Bailey, Seth and manager Robert Rein. Took several calls but we were able to negotiate a deal we both could live with. I was trading in a RAM 2500 Bailey, Seth and manager Robert Rein. Took several calls but we were able to negotiate a deal we both could live with. I was trading in a RAM 2500 for a 3500 and they said they would need to see my trade-in but if it was in great shape they could offer $62K. They knew its value from the carfax they pulled and I was fully transparent that the minor damage was hail damage that was fully/professionally repaired. They sent me a proposal with the $62K trade-n, and the price of the new truck we negotiated. In review the sales tax they calculated for TN was not correct with an overcharge of $300 (buyer beware). They agreed to correct this. On the day I was to drive 5 hrs to sign the deal, I have a conversation with Dan (Manager) and Robert, they inform me that they can guarantee the $62K for trade-in. They can only guarantee $57-58K. I ask the, even if you find it in excellent condition you cant guarantee $62K? The answer "no". Classic bait and switch tactics. This dealership and their practices can simply not be trusted. Their tactics are unscrupulous, misleading, and with the full intent to con the customer. More
Th÷y drove my truck to evaluate trade in and damaged the front bumper therefore destroying my clean carfax , the worse thing is how the salesman backed the truck in for me to leave so I would not see the de front bumper therefore destroying my clean carfax , the worse thing is how the salesman backed the truck in for me to leave so I would not see the deep scratch they put on it . I am having the touch up paint they used to hide it tested to prove they damaged my truck. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this dealer they are crooks. More
Very satisfying experience. Brent is a wonderful sales person who helped us from car selection to explaining all the features of the car with all the required details. I inquired via text about a specific Kia model and was contacted by Charles Glover, an employee of this dealership. After telling him what I wanted, he said he’d get back to me with a price. So I waited, contacted by Charles Glover, an employee of this dealership. After telling him what I wanted, he said he’d get back to me with a price. So I waited, and waited. We ended up on the phone, and he said he was getting the runaround on the numbers, and I really needed to come in to the dealership. We had to be on the phone for fifteen minutes, and I was very specific. “Will you be there, is the car I want on the lot and available”, etc. Charles reassured me on all fronts. Mind you, I was desperate for a car, having just had my car totaled in an accident. So I opted to skip a business dinner and drove the 26 minutes to the dealership. I go to the Kia building (there are five different auto makers represented at this dealership), and asked for Charles Glover. They didn’t know who he was. After much confusion, we figure out that Charles Glover was at the Nissan building, and he asked someone else to take care of me. Of course, they didn’t have the car, it was a total waste of a trip, and I missed a business dinner. After expressing my displeasure with Charles Glover, he then had the audacity to invite me to Nissan to talk more. In conclusion, Charles Glover was intentionally dishonest with me to get me into the dealership under false pretenses, and you have to wonder if that’s how all there dealers are trained. My subsequent complaint to a superior was met with stonewalling, and now I have to wait until Friday to speak with his boss, just to even air my grievances. What a sham of a business. David S. More
I found a Defender on their website, I was initially dealing with Antonio. After a few text messages and emails we agreed on a price. He then informed me that I had to come in to sign papers before th dealing with Antonio. After a few text messages and emails we agreed on a price. He then informed me that I had to come in to sign papers before they would sell me the vehicle. I live 375 miles away and want to have the vehicle shipped or I would fly to pick it up. After a few more text messages I was informed by Halley (Internet Manager) that I had to finance with one of their 40+ lenders. I responded that I wanted to finance with my local CU. Finally she agreed to allow me to finance and have them send or bring a cashiers check. 10 minutes after the phone call confirming the price we had previously agreed to, she called me back to inform me the vehicle was no longer available and that one of their Executives was buying it. I calmly told her we had an agreed upon transaction for days, she informed me that we didn't and it was first come, first serve. It's no wonder car sales people are viewed as having no integrity. I never, ever leave bad reviews. I have always felt they are unproductive and a waste of time. I am only doing this one to potentially save another buyer from having this same experience. As they say, customer service comes from the top down, just wonder how many levels this type of customer service goes up the Jeff Wyler leadership ladder. Would have been a little easier to accept this if they sold it to another customer, but to a Wyler executive versus a customer..ugh It's almost laughable, if I wasn't so utterly disappointed. I assume they are a very large (successful) dealership, and I am sure it wasn't built on these deceptive practices. I just happened to deal with Halley and Antonio... many buyers buy from the internet, I think they need to review your sales practices. The communication email and text from the start was very unprofessional and awkward. More
